The movie followed the life of the retired Colonel and his three sons, covering love, loss, bravery and betrayal. Anthony Hopkins played Col. William Ludlow, who despised the way that his government had treated Native American Indians. His sons were played by Aiden Quinn, Brad Pitt and Henry Thomas.

This movie contained some beautiful sweeping views that were actually filmed in Alberta, Canada.

Dracula bit a close friend of Mina's and, as a physician, Van Helsing was called in to help. Van Helsing recognised the girl as undead and the search for Dracula began.
