Judy Garland in 1937, Barbra Streisand in 1976, and Lady Gaga in 2018 all played the lead role. In the 1976 version, Barbra played Esther Hoffman with Kris Kristofferson playing the role of aging rockstar John Norman Howard.

In the other versions of the film, Garland played Esther Blodgett and in 2018, Lady Gaga played Ally Campana.

"A View To A Kill" was the James Bond film that featured a classic scene on the Eiffel Tower and the popular Duran Duran theme song. The movie came out in 1985 and was the last film starring Roger Moore as James Bond. The villain role of Maximillian Zorin was played by actor Christopher Walken. The climactic scene was set in San Francisco, California on the Golden Gate Bridge.
