"Anatomy of a Murder", directed by Otto Preminger, was considered 'very daring' when it was released in 1959. Lee Remick, as Laura Manion, portrayed a sexually charged character in a way few film makers had attempted at that time. Ben Gazzarra was excellent as Remick's husband and James Stewart, as Paul Biegler, was at his best as the lawyer who defends him against a murder charge.
7. Do you remember where you were in 1977 when "Annie Hall" debuted in movie theatres? That's a rhetorical question; the real question is, who were the stars? He became famous for his directing talent and she was Michael Corleone's second wife in "The Godfather". Who were they?
