1. Cactus Jack and Triple H have a Street Fight Match.

At the WWE's 2000 "Royal Rumble" event, Triple H defended WWE Championship against Cactus Jack in a Street Fight Match. Triple H won this bloody and violent match via pinfall to retain the WWE Championship. After the match, Triple H was carried out of the ringside area on a stretcher. An angry Cactus Jack pushed the stretcher back to ringside and attacked Triple H.
2. Chris Jericho becomes first Undisputed WWE Champion.

In late 2001, the WWE decided to unify the WCW and WWE Championships. This new title would be known as the Undisputed WWE Championship. At the WWE's 2001 "Vengeance" event, there was a three-match tournament to determine the new champion. Chris Jericho defeated The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin that night to become the first Undisputed WWE Champion.
3. The Rock faces Hulk Hogan in Toronto.

WWE's "Wrestlemania X8" occurred on March 17, 2002, in the Skydome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This show contained a special attraction match dubbed "Icon versus Icon". In this match, The Rock defeated "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan via pinfall in front of a very reactive crowd.
4. First Tribute to the Troops show occurs.

WWE held its first annual "Tribute to the Troops" show on the Christmas Day 2003 edition of WWE's "Smackdown". The show was for the soldiers based in Baghdad, Iraq, are treated to several outdoor matches. The main event saw John Cena defeat Big Show. Both men stunned by "Stone Cold" Santa Claus after the match.
5. That Goldberg versus Brock Lesnar "dream match".

WWE's "Wrestlemania XX" occurred on March 14, 2004 in Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Bill Goldberg faced Brock Lesnar in dream grudge match. The match was considered a critical "flop". This was due to both wrestlers not giving a good effort because they were leaving the WWE after the match.

The fans turned sour to the match and made many derogatory chants. The only highlight of the match was special guest referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin delivering "stunners" to both wrestlers when it was over.
6. First Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The first Money in the Bank Ladder Match occurred at WWE's 2005 "Wrestlemania 21" event. Six wrestlers tried to climb a ladder to grab a hanging "Money in the Bank" briefcase containing a contract for a guaranteed championship match. Edge won the first Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Money in the Bank Ladder Matches are traditionally competed on a yearly basis.
7. The ECW "December to Remember" show.

The WWE presented the "December to Remember" show under the ECW brand banner. The show was held on December 3, 2006, at the James Brown Arena in Augusta, Georgia.

The show featured a Ladder Match between the Hardys and MNM. The main event was an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match for the ECW World Championship. Bobby Lashley won this match.

The match is famous for its historically low buy rates and poor-quality matches.
8. Lashley wins Battle of the Billionaires Match.

At the WWE's 2007 "Wrestlemania 23" event, Bobby Lashley faced Umaga in a Battle of the Billionaires Match. A billionaire would receive a haircut after the match. The referee for the match was "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Bobby Lashley won this match via pinfall. Thus, billionaire Vince McMahon had his head shaved.
9. John Cena returns at the Royal Rumble.

On the October 1, 2007 episode of WWE's "Monday Night Raw", John Cena suffered torn pectoral muscle during a match. This injury required surgery followed by at least six months of rehabilitation.

WWE held their annual "Royal Rumble" event on January 27, 2008. John Cena made a surprise return in the Royal Rumble Match and was victorious.
10. The Undertaker and HBK's epic "Wrestlemania" bout.

On April 5, 2009, WWE held its "Wrestlemania 25" event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX. The highlight of the event was a critically acclaimed epic encounter between "HBK" Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker. After a thirty-minute battle, the Undertaker defeated Michaels via pinfall after executing a "Tombstone Piledriver".
