1. The "Ultimate Challenge".

The tagline for WWE's 1990 "Wrestlemania VI" event was "The Ultimate Challenge". This event was held on April 1, 1990, at the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The main event of the event saw WWE Intercontinental Champion the Ultimate Warrior defeat WWE Champion Hulk Hogan.
2. Undertaker begins his undefeated streak at "Wrestlemania".

The Undertaker defeated Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka at WWE's 1991 "Wrestlemania VII" event. This victory was the first of twenty-one consecutive victories at "Wrestlemania" events for the Undertaker. Brock Lesnar defeated the Undertaker at WWE's 2014 "Wrestlemania XXX" event.
3. Ric Flair becomes the WWE Champion by winning the Royal Rumble Match.

WWE's 1992 "Royal Rumble" event occurred on January 19, 1992, at the Knickerbocker Arena in Albany, New York. The main event of the show was the Royal Rumble Match for the vacant for the WWE Championship. Ric Flair drew number three in the match. Flair lasted approximately one hour in the match to win it and become the new WWE Champion.
4. WWE's "Monday Night Raw" premieres.

The first episode of WWE's "Monday Night Raw" aired on the USA Network on January 11, 1993. The show was broadcast from the Grand Ballroom at Manhattan Center Studios in New York City, New York. The first match on the show saw Yokozuna defeat Koko B. Ware.
5. Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels have the first Ladder Match.

WWE's 1994 "Wrestlemania X" event occurred on March 20, 1994 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The opening match on the card was a highly acclaimed bout which saw Owen Hart upset his older brother Bret Hart.

Later on the show, Razor Ramon defeated Shawn Michaels for the Undisputed WWF Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match. This bout was the first Ladder Match competed on a major WWE show. The pair of wrestlers had a second Ladder Match at WWE's 1995 "Summerslam" event.
6. Lawrence Taylor wrestles at "Wrestlemania".

NFL legend Lawrence Taylor was sitting at ringside for the WWE's 1995 "Royal Rumble" event. Taylor got in a physical altercation with wrestler Bam Bam Bigelow after Bigelow's match. This altercation led to a match between two at WWE's 1995 "Wrestlemania XI" event.

The match between Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam Bigelow was the main event of the show. Taylor pinned Bigelow to win the match.
7. Steve Austin gives his King of the Ring acceptance speech.

WWE's 1996 "King of the Ring" was held on June 23, 1996 at the MECCA Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin won the King of the Ring tournament at this event. Austin delivered his legendary "Austin 3:16" acceptance speech after his victory. Austin ended the speech introducing his catchphrase "And that's the bottom line, because Stone Cold said so."
8. The "Montreal Screwjob" Match.

Shawn Michaels challenged Bret "the Hitman" Hart for the WWE Championship at the WWE's 1997 "Survivor Series" event. This event was held on November 9, 1997, at the Molson Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

A week before the event, WWE Champion Bret Hart signed with another wrestling promotion. WWE owner Vince McMahon didn't want Bret Hart to leave the promotion as champion. Thus, McMahon influenced the outcome this match to ensure that Michaels would win the WWE Championship. This incident would be called the "Montreal Screwjob".
9. The Undertaker and Mankind have a Hell in a Cell Match.

WWE's 1998 "King of the Ring" event occurred on June 28, 1998, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The annual King of the Ring was held at this event and was won by Ken Shamrock.

This event was the scene for the well-remembered Hell in a Cell Match between Mankind and the Undertaker. At the beginning of the match, the Undertaker threw Mankind from the top of the sixteen-foot-high cage and through the Spanish announcers' table. Later, Undertaker chokeslammed Mankind through the top of the cage falling to the ring. Eventually, the Undertaker won the match.
10. Triple H "marries" Stephanie McMahon in Las Vegas.

On the November 29, 1999, episode of WWE's "Monday Night Raw", Test and Stephanie McMahon were scheduled to get married in the ring. During the ceremony, Triple H revealed that he and a drugged Stephanie McMahon got married the night before at a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. This wedding was a planned setup for Stephanie and Triple H to take over the WWE.
