Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where are the Guardians located at the beginning of the film?

Answer: Knowhere

Collectively the guardians are working to repair Knowhere - the severed head of a Celestial they use as their headquarters - after the battle with Thanos. Star-Lord is there although not particularly helpful as he's busy mourning the loss of Gamora (as he knows her) by drinking to excess.
2. Sent by the High Evolutionary (by way of his mother) to retrieve Rocket, what is the first name of the all-golden character played by Will Poulter?

Answer: Adam

Adam Warlock is a member of the highly-advanced galactic race called the Sovereign. He was awakened earlier than intended by the High Evolutionary in order to retrieve Rocket on his behalf. He's been genetically engineered to be incredibly strong and this trait is on full display early in the film as he attacks the Guardians, critically injuring Rocket and thus setting off the chain of events that make up this film's plot.
3. In flashbacks, we see that Rocket was one of a batch of animals who are being experimented on by the High Evolutionary. There are three other creatures from this batch that formed a foursome with Rocket. Which of the following was NOT part of the batch 89 foursome?

Answer: Cheese

Lylla appears to have been the group's de facto leader and was an altered otter. Teefs was a walrus with wheels and Floor was a rabbit with mechanical legs like a spider's. All four of the group can speak as a result of their genetic experimentation.
4. Maria Bakalova voices what type of animal, who can speak to others through the use of a special collar and has telekinetic powers?

Answer: Dog

Cosmo is a Labrador who was sent into outer space by the Soviet Union in 1966 as part of their space exploration programme. She was found by the Collector and given a collar which allows her to 'speak' to others. Throughout this movie, she has a close relationship with Kraglin (Sean Gunn) and one of the film's running jokes revolves around whether Kraglin thinks she's a good or bad dog.
5. What is the name of the medical outpost the Guardians visit in order to obtain Rocket's medical records?

Answer: The Orgosphere

In the hopes of finding a way to heal Rocket without activating the kill switch, the Guardians visit the Orgosphere - a medical facility. Whilst there, Star-Lord flirts with the staff in an attempt to retrieve Rocket's record. He claims it was working until Gamora decides on a more... aggressive approach.
6. According to Star-Lord, it's only a trap if you don't know it's a trap. What does he say it is instead?

Answer: Face Off

Peter says this a couple off times throughout the film - both to his allies and also to his enemies. Because he recognised that going to Counter-Earth was a trap, it meant he was able to go into the confrontation prepared.
7. Which Filipino actor, known for his roles in the film "Crazy Rich Asians" and the TV show "Superstore", plays Recorder Theel in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"?

Answer: Nico Santos

Recorder Theel plays a memorable role in the film because he downloads the critical information about how to operate on Rocket without triggering the kill switch from his medical records on the Orgosphere. He then deletes them from the database before the Guardians can review them.

Nico Santos has described his experience playing Recorder Theel as an "out of body experience" and like he was "literally living [his] dream".
8. Upon encountering the children that the High Evolutionary had kept caged, they spoke in a language only one of the Guardians is shown to understand and speak. Who could converse with them?

Answer: Drax

Mantis explains that their language is not in her database so she and Nebula resort to attempting to act out what they're trying to communicate. Both admitted to Drax's face that they thought he was stupid so they're shocked when he steps in and can communicate freely with the children.
9. Nebula recruits Gamora, who has joined the Ravagers, to assist the Guardians with their quest to save Rocket. At the end of the film, does she return to the Ravagers?

Answer: Yes

Despite herself, the alternate timeline Gamora finds that she's connected with the Guardians but even so, she returns to the Ravagers at the end of the film. Before boarding the ship, she and Peter share a sweet moment where she says that she bets Peter and the other-timeline Gamora were "fun" together.
10. What does the final post-credit scene depict in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"?

Answer: Peter Quill eating breakfast.

All of the options were amongst the final scenes in the film, however the scene at the end of the credits depicts Peter eating breakfast with his grandfather whilst complaining about needing to mow the lawn.
