Horton is an elephant who happens to hear the people who live on a little speck of dust because of his giant ears. He saves them from certain destruction but nobody believes he really hears anything.

Jim Carrey voices Horton in this animated movie and plays the Grinch in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", a live action Dr. Suess movie. Horton was a bigger critical success than the Grinch but the Grinch was a bigger box office success.
