Unico in the Island of Magic Trivia Quiz

The West Wind is told by the gods to take Unico to the Hill of Oblivion, because they are jealous of his powers. She feels sorry for Unico and doesn't do it. During the first "Unico" movie, she carried him various places to hide him from the gods, and the movie ended with her taking Unico away again to protect him from the Night Wind.

As this movie opens, she is seen carrying Unico until she finds the forest where she leaves him. She speaks and says that he will remember nothing and that she can only pray that the gods will not find him.

Lord Kuruku is the bad guy who has Toby do his dirty work in exchange for teaching Toby some of his magic. He can usually be seen projecting himself as a cube or sphere of multicolored light. In his natural form, he is rather round with a long face, big eyes, and reddish-orange hair.

He wears a dark red hooded robe and cackles when he laughs. He is really a puppet who is seeking revenge for what some humans did to him in the past.

Toby's job is to turn the living creatures into 'living puppets'. These living puppets resemble zombie-like block creatures. Once the people and animals are turned into puppets, Toby plays his flute for them to follow the sound and go where he wants them to go.

Nightmare Island is the home of Lord Kuruku. He has used all of the living puppets to build his castle and island. The castle pretty much makes up the whole of the island. This is where Lord Kuruku keeps all of his toys and puppets. This is where all the fighting between Unico and Kuruku takes place. It falls apart after Kuruku is defeated.

Unico and Cheri stow away on the boat Toby uses to carry the living puppets to Nightmare Island. Once they arrive at the island, Roller Dragon, one of Lork Kuruku's toys, traps them and throws them into Lord Kuruku's lair. Lord Kuruku asks Toby to turn them into living puppets, but Toby asks a favor.

He wants to turn them into toys since they are only children. Lord Kuruku obliges and Toby puts them with the rest of Lord Kuruku's toys. Later, Toby is able to take them away from the island and turn them back into their normal selves.

Toby is actually Cheri's brother who hasn't been home with her and her parents for three years. This is first revealed when he comes to visit them shortly before turning the villagers into living puppets. While he is at their house, his master comes to find him and actually turns his parents into living puppets. He is able to hide Cheri so that she doesn't suffer the same fate.

When Unico feels that someone truly loves him, he transforms into a large white unicorn with wings to better help his friend in need. As this new winged unicorn, he is more powerful and is better able to help whatever friend is in need. In this movie, he transforms when Cheri tries to leave him behind in the desert when she must go to the end of the earth to find the Trojan Horse.

Unico and Cheri travel to the end of the earth to talk to the Trojan Horse. The end of the earth is where all unwanted items, like the Trojan Horse, end up. When they first find the Trojan Horse, he is dusty and so they clean him up and make him feel better.

He is shown as a toy rocking horse decorated with different colors. He then has Cheri look into his eye to see Kuruku's past while he tells them the story of how Kuruku was mistreated and ended up at the end of the world.

Soon after Unico is left in the forest he comes upon Melvin Magnificat. Melvin begins talking to Unico and asking what Unico is doing in 'his' forest. Once Melvin realizes that Unico is different and has a horn, he becomes scared of him. After Melvin's sidekicks arrive, they convince him that he shouldn't be scared of Unico. Melvin ends up becoming Toby's helper after Toby turns his friends into living puppets. Melvin tends to be ill and he is also the first one to hide when something goes wrong.

Toby has been turning the animals into living puppets. Once Melvin becomes his helper, Melvin starts pointing out animals to Toby. Melvin spots Unico and Toby picks him up wondering what he is. Unico gets away and falls into the stream. He is found and taken in by Cheri. Cheri tries to get him to drink some milk from a spoon and even shows him how to drink it. Cheri tries talking to him and telling him about her family to make him feel better and drink the milk. Unico never drinks the milk, but he does begin to talk to Cheri the next morning.
