In 1977 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, "Dancing Queen" topped the chart. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" peaked at number 14. "Money, Money, Money" peaked at number 56. The three tracks were released in the album titled "Arrival" in 1976.

In 1978 US Billboard Year-end Hot 100 singles, "Take a Chance on Me" ended at number 97 and "The Name of the Game" ranked at number 32. These two tracks and "Thank You for the Music" were released in the album titled "The Album" in 1978.

In 1979, "Voulez-Vous", "Chiquitita" and "I Have a Dream" were major hits, topping the charts in many countries. "Does Your Mother Know" was also released in that year. All four tracks were released in the album titled "Voulez-Vous".

"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" topped the charts in many countries and reached number three in the UK. The song was released in the album titled "Greatest Hits Vol. 2".

In 1980, "Lay All Your Love on Me" peaked at number eight in the UK. "Super Trouper" and "The Winner Takes It All" topped the chart in many countries including the UK. "The Winner Takes It All" reached number eight in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The three tracks were released in the album titled "Super Trouper" became UK's biggest selling album in that year.

In 1981, "One of Us" was released in the album "Visitors". The song was a top-ten hit in Austria, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
