In 1971 US Billboard Hot 100, "Stoney End" (written by Laura Nyro in 1967) peaked at number six. "Where You Lead" (written by Carole King in 1970) peaked at number 40.

In 1974 US Billboard Hot 100, "All in Love is Fair" (first recorded by Stevie Wonder in 1973) peaked at number 63. "The Way We Were" was the top song on February 2 and for another two weeks from 16 to 23 in the same month. The song ended as number one hit for the year.

In 1977 US Billboard Hot 100, "Evergreen" the theme song from the 1976 film "A Star is Born" spent three weeks on the number one spot from March 5 to 12.

In 1978 US Billboard Hot 100, "Songbird" reached number 25. "You Don't Bring Me Flower", a duet with Neil Diamond, reached number one on December 2 and 16. "Prisoner" theme song for the film "Eyes of Laura Mars" in the same year peaked at number 21.

"Woman in Love", Guilty" and "What Kind of Fool" were recorded in 1980. The last two songs were duets with Barry Gibb. Her version of "Memory", a song from the musical "Cats" was released in 1982. "We're Not Makin' Love Anymore", a duet with Michael Bolton, was released in 1989.
