3. What Anthrax album would this be? "State of..."

Answer: Euphoria

"State of Euphoria" was released in 1988 and has the hit songs "Antisocial" and "Who Cares Wins" on it. In my mind, this is one of their better albums.

6. What Anthrax song is about homeless people?

Answer: Who Cares Wins

"Who Cares Wins" is written about homeless people and how other people just turn a deaf ear and a cold shoulder to the homeless and act like they're not there when they pass by them. The song wants you to wake up to the problem of homelessness and to quit ignoring it. It is on the album "State of Euphoria".
7. Finish this song lyric by Anthrax. "I drink three six packs...."

Answer: Just so I can look at your face

That lyric is from the song "Finale", off the album "State of Euphoria". It is dealing with a man hating his wife and hating to go home...marital problems.

Answer: Island

Anthrax was on Island Records until 1992, when they switched to Elektra, along with a new lead singer.
11. Anthrax put out an album of nothing but B-sides and unheard songs. What is the name of that album?

Answer: Attack of the Killer B's

"Attack of the Killer B's" was released in 1991. It had the hit song "Bring the Noise" on it with Public Enemy, and the original Headbangers Ball theme song, "Chromatic Death".
12. What song did Anthrax do with Public Enemy?

Answer: Bring the Noise

"Bring the Noise" was originally recorded by Public Enemy on one of their earlier albums. It has a lyric in it pertaining to Anthrax, ("Wax is for Anthrax, still it can rock bells ever forever"). Anthrax liked that so they contacted Public Enemy and got together with them and remade the song with a little more hardness to it.

It was released on the album "Attack of the Killer B's". They also made a video for this song.
13. What was the band that Charlie Benante, Scott Ian, Billy Milano, and Dan Lilker started?

Answer: S.O.D

Not Milk, but that is one of the songs that "S.O.D" did. Charlie, Scott, Dan, and Billy started "Stormtroopers of Death", and released the album, "Speak English or Die". This is a very hardcore album! If memory serves correct, S.O.D. was actually formed as a joke.

While Anthrax was on a sort of hiatus status, Charlie and some other fellow musician friends went into the studio and layed some tracks down.
14. What was the first raplike song Anthrax did?

Answer: I'm the Man

"I'm the Man" was the first rap Anthrax did. It was released on an E.P. they put out early on in their career and it did very well. The guys remade this song in 1991 and renamed it "I'm the Man '91". The remix was recorded on "Attack of the Killer B's" and it has more of a preprogrammed sound than the original did.

After Neil Turnin left the group, he was replaced by Joey Belladonna.
16. For the third time, Anthrax had to replace yet another lead singer. What is the name of the first album Anthrax put out with this new singer?

Answer: Elektra

Along with a new lead singer, Anthrax switched record labels, and it wouldn't be their last time to do this, either.
18. What does the Anthrax song "Black Lodge" discuss?

Answer: Drug overdose

"Black Lodge", off the album "Sound of White Noise", deals with drug abuse/overdose. The lyrics in this song are very deep and moving. It is one of my favorite songs by the band. Even the music has a eerie sound to it that is very addictive.
19. Who was the guitarist that left Anthrax in the mid-1990's?

Answer: Dan Spitz

I do not know the exact reason why Dan left the band, but I believe I read something about him wanting to spend more time with his family. Dan left Anthrax sometime in the mid-1990's. To me, Dan was the quiet family type, which supports what I read.

Answer: American Indian

25. What instrument does Frank Bello of Anthrax play?

Answer: Bass

Frank Bello plays bass guitar. He is an excellent bass player! He also has a very good voice. He sings a song on the album "The Threat is Real". It's a hidden track at the end of the album. It's about 3 minutes after the last song, "Stealing From a Thief", goes off. I believe Charlie (drummer) plays acoustic guitar on it too. Check it out if you can.
