History won't care at all
Make the bed light the light
Lady won't be home tonight yeah
You don't waste no time at all
Don't hear the bell but you answer the
It comes to you as to us all
We're just waiting
For the Hammer To Fall
Oh ev'ry and every day
A little piece of you is falling
But lift your the western way
Build your muscles as your body decays yeah
Toe your line and play their game yeah
Let the anaesthetic cover it all
Till day they call your name
You know it's time for the Hammer To Fall
Rich or poor or famous
For your truth it's all the same (oh no oh no)
Lock your the rain is pouring
Through your window pane (oh no)
Baby now your struggle's all in vain
For we who up tall and proud
In the shadow of the cloud
Convinced our voices can't be heard
We just wanna scream it louder and louder
What the we fighting for?
Just surrender and it won't at all
You just got time to say your
While your waiting for the hammer to Hammer To Fall
It's gonna fall you know, Hammer To Fall
While you're waiting for the Hammer To Fall
Give it to me one more time"

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
Answer:
The lead guitarist Brian May penned "Hammer to Fall.". The song also featured on the band's eleventh album, "The Works," which was also released in 1984. The song was allegedly inspired by the Cold War, which was a period of conflict between the US and Russia and their allies. The tension dissipated in 1991 after the breakup of the Soviet Union.
On his website, Brian explained what the lyrics actually meant for the song; it was essentially about life and death, wherein death is a normal aspect of it. In the end, everyone will die; it doesn't matter if you're wealthy, destitute, well-known, or simply a regular person - the outcome is always the same. Additionally, according to Brian's website, the sound of the hammer dropping is only a symbol of the Grim Reaper carrying out his duty.
Queen sang the song "Hammer to Fall" at the Live Aid concert in 1985 with two of their other well-known hits, "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Radio Ga Ga".
I'm sure most of you will know that Queen was formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, and Brian May, with John Deacon the last member to join the band a little while later. The band's debut studio album was called "Queen," released in 1973 on the EMI Records label in the UK and Elektra Records in the US. In the early days, Queen played a genre of hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock. The debut album charted for the first time on the UK Albums Chart in 25th position and 83rd on the US Billboard 200.
