"Paint Me a Birmingham" finished number four on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts. Some of Lawrence's number one hits include "Texas Tornado", "Time Marches On", "Alibis" and "Sticks and Stones". Judd in his spoof seeks a country ham with a "side of yams" and "pineapple all around".

Faith Hill's "This Kiss" was a major crossover hit for the country star. The song soared to number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart and reached number seven on the Billboard pop charts. Cledus mockingly reveals all the things that he thinks are wrong with our commercialized holidays in his parody of Hill's hit.

"Skoal" is a parody of the hit "Sold: The Grundy County Auction Incident" by John Michael Montgomery. "Every Bulb in the House is Blown" is a lampoon of the song "Every Light in the House" by Trace Atkins and "Paycheck Woman" is a spoof of Gretchen Wilson's hit "Redneck Woman".

Judd's song "I'm not in Here for Love (Just Yer Beer)" appeared on his second album entitled "I Stoled this Record". His appreciation for Shania Twain is also seen in the song "If Shania was Mine".
