Lars Ulrich's father was a pro tennis player and Lars at one point had an interest playing tennis but later he became more interested in being a drummer and later met James Hetfield after placing that ad, and that is where Metallica began.

2. Dave Mustaine was fired from Metallica shortly after Metallica was signed to Megaforce Records by which producer?

Answer: Johnny Zazula

The same day Dave was sent packing, Kirk Hammett flew in to New York to audition for Metallica. It was decided he would be Mustaine's replacement after doing his solo for "Seek and Destroy."
