Arrange these artists by the number in the title of one of their songs - from ten to one. The artist I mentioned, is always the first to have sung the song - even if later covers might sound more familiar. When an artist has released more than one single that could enter the list, I mention the year of release.

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Afrojack featuring Wrabel (2014)

Wrabel is an American singer-songwriter.
Afrojack is the stage name of a Dutch DJ born in 1987 as Nick van de Wall. He is perhaps best known for his debut album "Forget the World" from 2014.
On this album is featured the song "I'm Ten Feet Tall", which peaked at position 100 in the US Billboard 100. The Netherlands and France received this song better, as it peaked at number nine in their national hit lists.
"I'm Ten Feet Tall" was also released as a single and got a gold award in the USA and in Brazil, and double platinum in the Netherlands.
2. The Clovers (1959)

"Love Potion No. 9" was originally sung by The Clovers in 1959, but had more success when The Searchers covered it in 1964. Several other bands covered this song too. The version by The Clovers peaked at number 23 in the Billboard Top 100, while The Searchers brought it to number three in the same chart list.
According to the lyrics, a man drank love potion number 9 and started hugging and kissing all he saw, even a policeman who was quite displeased with so much affection.
I've added the year of release because the Clovers also had "One Mint Julep" in 1952.
The Clovers was an American rhythm and blues band founded in 1946, but had already had several changes in the line-up when "Love Potion No. 9" was released. The Searchers was a British group founded in 1959, with various changes of line-ups too.
3. The Beatles (1964)

"Eight Days A Week" was a single released from the album "Beatles for Sale". The Beatles in their classical line-up of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr released this song in December 1964, and it was their seventh number one hit on the US Billboard Top 100.
I particularly like the refrain text:
"Eight days a week
I love you.
Eight days a week
Is not enough to show I care."

There were also some albums by the Beatles with the number one in the title: an EP from 1963, and two compilation albums from 1983 and 2000. But I needed the 1964 single in this line-up.
4. Lukas Graham (2015)

Lukas Graham is a Danish group, founded by Lukas Forchhammer and Mark Falgren in 2011. They released in 2015 their first international singles, among which is "Seven Years" that rose to the top in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Sweden and the UK, to mention only a few. In the US Billboard Top 100 "Seven Years" stranded at number two.
The single won seven times platinum in the USA and eight times platinum in Sweden.

As the group was still active when I wrote this question, I've added the release date of the single.
5. Dave Dudley (1963)

Dave Dudley (1928-2003) was the first to reach the US Billboard top 100 with the song "Six Days on the Road". This country song about a truck driver reached number 32 in the chart list.
The song was later covered by various groups and individual artists, including Sawyer Brown and Jim Croce.
I've added the release date 1963 to avoid someone coming up with the single released in 1965: "Two Six Packs Away", which could be ordered in two different places.
And to complicate things even more, Dudley released in 1969 and in 1975 other singles with another number in the title: "One More Mile" (1969) and "Fireball Rolled a Seven" (1975).
6. Lou Bega (1999)

"Mambo Number Five" was originally an instrumental played by the Cuban pianist and bandleader Damaso Perez Prado in 1949. But fifty years later, the German singer Lou Bega sampled it and added lyrics, and took the song to number three on the US Billboard Top 100. Lou Bega's version also reached number one on several European hit charts, as well as in Australia and Canada.
Lou Bega was still active when I wrote this question. So I've added the release date.
7. Bachman-Turner Overdrive (1975)

Bachman-Turner Overdrive is a Canadian band founded in 1971 by Fred Turner and three brothers Bachman: Randy, Robbie and Tim. A few years later, Tim Bachman was replaced by Blaire Thornton. And in this second line-up (Randy Bachman, Robbie Bachman, Fred Turner and Blaire Thornton) they released the 1975 album "Four-Wheel Drive", that peaked on the Billboard top 200 at number five.

The album is named after the first song, but only the third song on the album ("Hey You") was released as a single.
8. Commodores (1978)

In 1968 the band Commodores formed, with six members all from Alabama. Their first number one hit on the US Billboard top 100 was "Three Times a Lady", in the classical line-up of William King, Lionel Richie, Thomas McClary, Milan Williams, Ronald LaPread and Walter Orange.
Lionel Richie wrote this song as a waltz, quite atypical for their style, with the intention of having Frank Sinatra sing it. Luckily for the group they decided to release it in their own name.
The original version by the Commodores was of course covered by several other artists, including Conway Twitty, but none of the covers gained the same success.
Although Lionel Richie has left the band, Commodores are still active - that's why I've added the release date.
9. Marion Harris

"Tea For Two" was first recorded as an instrumental by the Benson Orchestra of Chicago and as a song (only the refrain) by Marion Harris, both released in January 1925. Harris' version skyrocketed to number one on the US charts and remained there for eleven weeks.
There are of course several covers and arrangements of this song. Benny Goodman (1937) and Doris Day (1955) performed it solo, and the duet by Frank Sinatra and Dinah Shore (1947) is also well known. Shostakovich rearranged it in 1927, having heard Harris' version only once.
10. ABBA

The Swedish group ABBA formed in 1972, with the classical line-up Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Faltskog and Ulvaeus were married to each other, and Andersson and Lyngstad were another married couple.
In 1981, one couple had already divorced and the other was filing for a divorce. The foursome wrote another studio album, and released the single "One of Us" - which reflected on the failed relationships. The lyrics to the refrain are as follows:

"One of us is crying, one of us is lying
In her lonely bed
Staring at the ceiling
Wishing she was somewhere else instead."

Although a quite sad song compared to ABBA's greatest hits, it still rose to number one in various European hit charts (Belgium, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and Sweden). In the UK it reached top three position, but it failed to reach the US Billboard top 100 because the US release was postponed for over a year, and meanwhile the group was disbanded.
