This was the second studio album by Carole King. In 1972, "Tapestry" won four Grammy Awards: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance for Female. An estimated 30 million copies were sold worldwide. The album is ranked 25th on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
