Frederik V (1746 - 1766).
The statue was commissioned by Adam Gottlob von Moltke, for whom one of the four palaces at Amalienborg - the one now known as Christian VII's Palace - was originally built. The foundation was laid in 1760, at the 100-year celebration of political absolutism in Denmark, and the statue was unveiled in 1771, five years after Frederik V's death.

Frederik II (1559 - 1588).
He married his cousin, Sophie of Mecklenburg-Güstrow, in 1572. In the first 10 years of their marriage, they had seven children together, and were described as inseparable and harmonious. Sadly, he died in 1588 after just 16 years of marriage, when their son Christian (IV) was only 10 years old.

He broke Danish royal tradition by choosing a naval career rather an army career.
He rose to the rank of Rear Admiral before becoming King, and had several senior commands on active service. When WWII started, he even wanted to be part of active warfare, however, that was deemed too risky.

Meeting the demands for a constitution, he signed the June Constitution in 1849.

Frederik I (1523 - 1533).
He secretly entered an alliance with Lübeck, and the rebellious Jutish bishops and council members in the fall of 1522. After his nephew - Christian II - had been forced to abdicate in January 1523, he invaded Denmark, and was declared King at Viborg Landsting.

Frederik VI (1808 - 1839).
Shortly after he had been declared of legal majority in 1784, he seized the full power of the regency, and dismissed the ministers loyal to the Queen Dowager, Juliana Maria, his step-grandmother who had been had been ruling on behalf of his mentally ill father - Christian VII. He then proceeded to rule as Crown Prince regent until his father's death in 1808.
10. Which Danish King Frederik died in Hamburg?

Frederik VIII (1906 - 1912).
On his way home from a trip to Nice with his wife and four of his children, he went on an evening stroll during which he collapsed. He was then taken to the local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Unfortunately, he had been traveling incognito, so the people who found him didn't know who he was.
