Opened in 2003, Lincoln Financial Field is located in South Philadelphia and it has a capacity of just under 72,000. The stadium is utilized by both the Philadelphia Eagles and the college team the Temple Owls. The naming rights for the stadium were sold to Lincoln Financial Group in 2002 for $139.6 million to be paid over 21 years.

The Lincoln Financial Group was opened in 1905 and it is headquartered in Radnor, located just 13 miles from Philadelphia.

Haason Reddick was born in Camden, NJ in 1994 and he was drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. The 2022-23 season was Reddick's first as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and he excelled as a pass rusher with 16 regular season sacks. In the NFC Championship Game, Reddick's sack on Brock Purdy injured the quarterback's throwing arm and an x-ray later would show that Purdy had a torn ulnar collateral ligament.

The San Francisco 49ers starting quarterback, Brock Purdy, injured his arm on the team's first drive and his replacement, Josh Johnson, suffered a concussion in the 2nd half. In spite of trailing for most of the game, the 49ers had no other quarterbacks and thus predictably ran the ball. The team finished with 24 rushing attempts and just 18 pass attempts.

The Philadelphia Eagles had 44 rushing attempts for 148 yards and four rushing touchdowns. The Eagles's quarterback, Jalen Hurts, threw the ball just 25 times as they had built a large lead and the team was running the ball so well.

Nick Sirianni was born in Jamestown, NY in 1981 and he was a star wide receiver when he played for the Division III school Mount Union. Sirianni's first experience on the sidelines was for his alma mater as a defensive backs coach in 2004. His first coaching experience in the NFL was in 2009 with the Kansas City Chiefs as an offensive quality control coach.

The Philadelphia Eagles hired Sirianni as their head coach in 2021 and during his first two seasons he led the team to a stellar 23-11 record.

The Kansas City Chiefs started playing at Arrowhead Stadium in 1972 and in 2010 the stadium underwent a $375 million restoration that increased the capacity to 76,416. In 2021 the health insurance company GEHA purchased naming rights for the stadium to include 'GEHA Field' in the official name of Arrowhead Stadium.

Comically, in the Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills when a win was certain, several Cincinnati Bengals players called the stadium 'Burrowhead' in reference to how well the team's quarterback, Joe Burrow, had played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City in the past.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling was born in 1994 in Saint Petersburg, FL. He was drafted in the 5th round of the 2018 NFL Draft and he played his first four seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He led the NFL in yards per reception in the 2020-21 season, but he failed to eclipse 40 catches or 700 yards in any of his seasons with the Packers.

In the 2022-23 AFC Championship Game, Valdes-Scantling made several big plays including a second half touchdown on 3rd and 10.

Chris Jones was born in Houston, MS in 1994 and he was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Jones is an elite pass rusher and in the 2018-19 season, he set an NFL by recording at least one sack in 11 consecutive games. In the 2022-23 AFC Championship Game, Chris Jones had two sacks and consistently brought pressure to the Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Harrison Butker was born in Decatur, GA in 1995 and he was drafted in the 7th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Over his first six seasons with the Chiefs, Butker excelled by converting 88.2% of his field goal attempts. In the 2022-23 AFC Championship Game, Butker came through by making all three of his field goal attempts and both of his PAT (point after touchdown) attempts.

Andy Reid was born in 1958 and his first NFL head coaching job was with the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 to 2012. During that time Reid led the team to a Super Bowl berth and five NFC Championship Games. As if his success with the Eagles wasn't enough, when Reid became head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, he immediately transformed them into an offensive juggernaut and they won the Super Bowl for the 2019-20 season.
