1. All-American Bowl (1990)
Answer: Birmingham
The Hall of Fame Classic first took place in 1977, changing its name to the All-American Bowl in 1986. All games took place at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. The last game took place on December 28, 1990, when North Carolina State defeated Southern Mississippi 31-27.
2. Bacardi Bowl (1946)
Answer: Havana
The Bacardi Bowl was played sporadically between 1907 and 1946 in Havana, Cuba. Most versions pitted a US college with a Cuban one, with the final incarnation, on December 7, 1946, seeing Southern Mississippi beat University of Havana 55-0.
3. Bluebonnet Bowl (1987)
Answer: Houston
The first Bluebonnet Bowl took place in Houston in 1959, taking its name from the state flower of Texas. Rice Stadium hosted the game from 1959 until 1967, when the Astrodome replaced it as the venue. After switching back to Rice Stadium in 1985 and 86, the Astrodome hosted the final game December 31, 1987, when Texas defeated Pittsburgh 32-27.
4. California (Raisin) Bowl (1991)
Answer: Fresno
The first California Bowl took place in 1981, with Raisin being added to the name in 1988. All games took place in Bulldog Stadium in Fresno. Hometown Fresno State were regular participants in the game, and they were on the losing side in the final game of the series on December 14, 1991, when Bowling Green triumphed 28-21.
5. Cigar Bowl (1954)

The Cigar Bowl took place at Phillips Field in Tampa, Florida, between 1947 and 1954. The hometown Tampa Spartans won the last game on December 17, 1954, beating Morris Harvey (now known as University of Charleston) 21-0.
6. Freedom Bowl (1994)
Answer: Anaheim
The Freedom Bowl debuted in 1984, with all games taking place at Anaheim Stadium, home of baseball's Los Angeles Angels (the LA Rams of the NFL also played their during this period). Teams from the Western Athletic Conference were frequent participants in the game. On December 27. 1994, Utah edged out Arizona 16-13 in the last game of the series.
7. Garden State Bowl (1981)
Answer: East Rutherford
The Garden State Bowl took place at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. There were only four editions of this bowl, the first taking place in 1978. On December 13, 1981, Tennessee defeated Wisconsin 28-21 in the final edition.
8. Gotham Bowl (1962)
Answer: New York
The Gotham Bowl was only played twice. On December 9, 1961. Baylor defeated Utah State 24-9 at the Polo Grounds, whilst a year later, on December 15, 1962, the game moved across the Harlem River to Yankee Stadium, when Nebraska defeated Miami (FL) 36-34.
9. Harbor Bowl (1949)
Answer: San Diego
The Harbor Bowl was a New Years Day bowl game played on three occasions, beginning in 1947. The last edition, in 1949, resulted in a 27-7 victory for Villanova over Nevada. All of the games in the series took place at Balboa Stadium.
10. International Bowl (2010)
Answer: Toronto
The International Bowl took place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, and featured a match-up between schools from the Big East and Mid-American Conference. The first game took place in 2007, and the last one on January 2, 2010, when South Florida defeated Northern Illinois 27-3.
