Answer: Ted Williams

From 1939-1960, Williams led the Red Sox and the American League in home runs many times. Ted won two Triple Crowns and two MVPs in his career. The hall took him in 1966.
2. Which one of these players never played with the Yankees?

Answer: Jim Rice

Jim Rice banged out 382 home runs in his 16 seasons in Boston. He retired in 1989, with a 1978 MVP award to his credit.
3. The pinstripes were never on which player's uniform?

Answer: Mike Greenwell

Greenwell, the outfielder and DH, played from 1985-1996. Seven times in Mike's career, he batted over .300, and retired with a .303 average.
4. Who was a 13-season Red Sox pitcher?

Answer: Bob Stanley

Stanley was there for the Red Sox from 1977-1989. He began his career as a starter, then came out from the bullpen. He had one save in the 1986 World Series, and retired with a 115-97 record along with 132 saves.

Answer: Bobby Doerr

Doerr was a nine-time second base all-star in his career of 14 seasons in Boston. He finished third in the MVP balloting in 1946 behind Ted Williams and Hal Newhouser. Bobby entered the hall in 1986.
