Answer:
"Challenge of the Super Friends" was one of two segments produced by Hanna-Barbera and aired during the 1978-1979 television season. The Hal Jordan version of Green Lantern was developed in 1959 by John Broome and Gil Kane. This version of Green Lantern was a test pilot (referenced in one episode) The power ring possessed by this Green Lantern was ineffective against the color yellow. He was voiced by Michael Rye (1918-2012).

Batman was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. The Hanna-Barbera version of Batman actually appeared in some episodes of "The Scooby Doo Movies". This version of Batman was actually--for lack of a better word--less grumpy than many depictions of Batman in other series and the comics. This mellow Batman did match better with genial versions of many of the "Super Friends" heroes.. He was voiced by actor Olan Soule (1909-1994).

Apache Chief was created by Hanna-Barbera in an attempt to bring more cultural/ethnic diversity to the Super Friends. He first appeared in the 1977 season of "Super Friends". He was voice by actor Michael Rye.
Samurai (or Toshiro Ito) was created by Alex Toth for Hanna-Barbera. His powers included the ability to manipulate wind and invisibility.
