'Cold Feet' Series 1 Trivia Quiz

Adam and Rachel meet in the supermarket car park when their cars crash. Rachel is driving a Mini and Adam is driving a Golf convertible. There is instant attraction and Rachel writes her phone number on the back window of Adam's car. Unfortunately, the rain on the way home washes the number away and Adam is gutted!

Pete and Adam have been friends for years and Adam always confides the sordid details of his love-life to Pete and his wife, Jenny. Ramona is the Marsden's Spanish nanny, Josh is their son and David is Josh's father/Karen's husband.

Pete is playing golf with David. Rachel drives her Mini across the green, wildly beeping her horn in order to attract his attention. Pete had bought a mobile 'phone especially for the event but had mistakenly left it with Adam on a drunken night out so it was Adam who came to Jenny's rescue when she went into labour.

When Adam sees Rachel's marriage certificate, he assumes it's a joke but then Rachel confesses she married Kris many years ago and just never got around to getting a divorce. Kris comes into the series for a few episodes when Rachel contacts him in order to get a divorce and ends up staying for longer than expected which causes a few problems for Adam and Rachel. Eventually they both secretly pay him to leave.

Ramona is Josh's nanny and becomes a more developed character in series three when she begins to date Pete. Ramona has some great comic lines.

Karen returns to work in episode four and, after an initial stint editing children's books, is offered the chance to edit a Booker Prize winner's new novel. She is attracted to this man but nothing comes of it. Her return to work inspires Adam to resume writing his 'novel' which he began several years earlier.

Adam observes Pete and his father and takes note of every conversation he witnesses. This begins to annoy Pete and eventually results in a fight between Adam and Pete. Adam asks Karen to give her opinion on his writing and she bluntly tells him that it's poor. As a peace offering, Adam destroys the book and gives the remains to Pete.

Pete's parents visited and Pete and Jenny found it very difficult. Pete and his father did not get along and his parents left Manchester on bad terms after the visit. When baby Adam is christened, Pete notices that his parents are not present. During the service, he receives a 'phone call from his mother informing him that his father has died on the way to the christening.

This is the episode where all the couples are dissatisfied with an aspect of their lives. Jenny and Pete are sick of watching TV at home each night, David and Karen are seeing a marriage guidance counsellor and Rachel is irritated by Adam's behaviour.

Therefore, the group decide to do something a bit different. The girls go to a divorce party and the boys go on a pub crawl which falls rather flat. Eventually, Adam decides that they should attend a new and trendy nightclub he has seen but unfortunately for David, he is not allowed in. Pete and Adam get into a fight with some drug dealers and are arrested.

Rachel has discovered she is pregnant but that she isn't sure if the father is Adam or her ex-husband Kris. She therefore leaves to stay with her sister in London. This episode is also the one where Jenny gets drunk at a charity dinner to which David has invited the group. David's boss, Joanna, makes belittling comment to Jenny who takes revenge by aiming a fire extinguisher at her leaving David in an awkward position. I hope you've enjoyed this quiz.
