Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many queens competed in this season of "Canada vs. the World"?

Answer: Nine

As with "Canada vs. the World's" first season, nine queens competed in six episodes, meaning that each week one queen was removed from the running until only four remained in the finale, battling it out for the crown and title. Although the preceding season featured four queens from Canada, this one only saw three as they stacked up against three U.S. queens, one from France, and two from the UK. Two of these queens (Lemon and Cheryl) had also come from a past "vs. the World" season, making them the first queens in the franchise to do so.
2. For winning the main challenge each week, queens received Gold RuPeter Badges.

Answer: False

Although Gold RuPeter Badges are a prize given to the winner (or winners) of any maxi challenge in "UK vs. the World", the queens who win in "Canada vs. the World" are typically given a cash, gift, or vacation prize for their troubles, and since there are only a handful of challenges over the course of the season, they pay off quickly.

Interestingly, of the contestants on this season of "Canada vs. the World", three queens would have had the chance to win RuPeter Badges though only Le Fil ever did on her original series.
3. This season saw the return of what "Canada's Drag Race" game mechanic?

Answer: The Golden Beaver

Introduced in "Canada's Drag Race's" fourth season, the Golden Beaver made her glorious return in "Canada vs. the World" season two, meaning that in any given challenge, only one winner would be crowned and would be able to use the beaver to save one of the bottom three queens, sending the two remaining into a Lip Sync for Their Life. After the judges' deliberation on the main stage, this meant that the queens could chat in the workroom and plead their case to avoid being up for elimination.

This also varies from earlier "vs. the World" rules which, like classic 'All Stars' rules, had the top two Lip Syncing for Their Legacies and having the winner of that eliminate one of the bottom queens.
4. In the first week of the competition, the queens formed girl groups to sing introductory pop songs. Which was not one of those songs?

Answer: Sorry Aboot It

After being introduced on the main stage, the nine queens visited the workroom to unpack and were quickly split into three trios to create lyrics and choreography for their own original pop tracks. Cheryl, Kennedy, and Lemon were regarded as having the best track-- "Tongue Pop"-- and Lemon took the win this week while Alexis Mateo, Eureka!, and La Kahena dropped to the bottom for their take on "BOPulence". Lemon elected to save Alexis with the Golden Beaver, leaving La Kahena to go home first after a lip sync to Charlotte Cardin's emotional track, "Meaningless".
5. In week two, the queens acted in an improv challenge with what "Real Housewives" star?

Answer: Lisa Rinna

Bringing a (hopeful) knack for comedy to the competition, the eight queens had to get into the groove one of eight provided character types as they faux-competed on the reality parody 'The Hole', a riff on "The Mole" and "The Traitors", and they were surprised by a ninth guest in "Real Housewives" star Lisa Rinna, playing herself. Kennedy Davenport won this one almost effortlessly and, after the queens took to the main stage in their finest 'Mother Nature' garments, Tynomi Banks, Le Fil, and Miss Fiercalicious landed in the bottom. Kennedy saved Miss Fierce while Tynomi sent Le Fil home.
6. The third episode featured a fashion ball themed around which of these?

Answer: The future

Seven queens entered the workroom on the third week of the competition with an unexpected motion capture acting (mini-)challenge, but were surprised with the reveal of a fashion ball for their maxi-challenge, this one focusing on AI-generated prompts. First, the queens had to present an AI Generated Queen look of their choosing, then they had to come to the main stage in a prompt called 'The Robots Have Taken Over'. Finally, the queens ended off with a new look, crafted in the workbook, showing off their take on 'Supermodel of the New World'. Alexis Mateo won this ball, saving Kennedy Davenport with the Golden Beaver.

It was Cheryl who won the lip sync to Avril Lavigne's "What the Hell", sending Tynomi Banks home.
7. Week four had the queens competing in 'Roast Battles'. Which of these pairs is correctly matched for their main challenge?

Answer: Lemon and Miss Fiercalicious

Although most seasons feature a simple reading mini-challenge in which the queens are invited into the library because (what?!) 'reading is fundamental', this season one-upped the idea by having the queens dig at one another in a main stage comedy challenge.

After being paired up in the workroom, the contestants had to create reads for one another to be performed on the main stage in front of a live audience, and the winner of each pair would be safe going into the lip sync at the end of the episode. Kennedy won the challenge this week, saving her own competition (Alexis) and making Miss Fiercalicious battle against Eureka! to the Pussycat Dolls track "Hush Hush; Hush Hush". It got Eureka! sent home.
8. This season featured a Rusical themed around which "Drag Race" mainstay?

Answer: The Snatch Game

Although the vast majority of seasons of "Drag Race" (in any country) feature some iteration or another of Snatch Game, this season of "Canada vs. the World" devised a new approach, forcing the queens to show off their singing and dancing, live, on the mainstage with the Rusical while also having them not only perform in their proposed Snatch Game characters, but answer prompts as if they were still playing the game.

After the performance, the queens went to the mainstage with the category of 'Summer of '69' and Lemon won the episode. She ended up giving Kennedy the season's final Golden Beaver while Alexis Mateo sent home Miss Fiercalicious, performing "How Far I'll Go" to singer (and guest judge) Alessia Cara.
9. The final challenge of the season involved which of these?

Answer: Lip syncs

After posing for portraits fit for crowned queens as done by reigning champion Ra'Jah O'Hara, the final four were brought to the main stage to reflect on their journeys in "Canada vs. the World 2" and crown one of their fellow competitors Miss Congeniality (they gave the prize to Eureka!). Once these to-dos were done, they took turns choosing between the lip syncs they would go head-to-head in performing-- Lemon and Kennedy had to dance to "Hideaway" by Kiesza while Alexis and Cheryl performed "So Many Men, So Little Time" by Miquel Brown.

It left us with a final two.
10. Which queen won "Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs. the World" Season 2?

Answer: Lemon

After winnowing the field down to two queens, it was Lemon and Alexis Mateo who went head-to-head in one final lip sync, this time to Celine Dion's "Love Can Move Mountains", where it was decided that Lemon would become the new 'Queen of the Motherpuckin' World'. Lemon, who placed fifth on her original season and was eliminated first in "UK vs. the World 1", won the $100,000 CAD prize from Trojan and a crown and sceptre from Amped Accessories to commence her reign.
