"Farscape," "Family Ties" Trivia Quiz

Rygel takes a pod and flies to meet Crais and tries to barter a deal to get back home in exchange for turning over Crichton and everyone on Moya. Unfortunately, Rygel didn't count on Scorpius running the show.

Rygel eats his third helping of food on the Peacekeeper carrier, and tells Crais and Scorpius, "That's for my third stomach. That's what happens, you see. By the time it's full, the first one's empty again."

John tells Zhaan before he goes on what may be a suicide mission, "Well, it's a...Jerry Springer kinda family. But for what it's worth, Zhaan, you are family." Jerry Springer is famous for it's offbeat people with family dysfunctions, and that's putting it mildly.

It was her mother. Aeryn tells John, "When I was very young, one night,
a soldier appeared over my bunk - battle hardened, scarred." John replies, "Cool! Your father." Aeryn says, "My mother, she told me
that I wasn't merely an accident or a genetic birthing to fill the ranks, that... she and a male that she had cared about had chosen to yield a life.
Mine." She tells John that is all she knows of her mother, and she knows even less about her father.

John tears up as he talks to Crais in Moya's holding cell, realizing he missed just having another human-like guy to talk to. Aeryn tears up while talking to Pilot, and Chiana gets misty while saying bye to John. Zhaan gets sad while talking to John, but doesn't do the waterworks.

Answer: A crowning glory

Entering Talyn, Crais says (as close as I can tell), "Kal tanega chivoko," to which Aeryn says, "A crowning glory for whom?" Crais tells her for the Peacekeepers, as they've been trying to make a Leviathan warship hybrid for some time. We find out in season two that Crais was the Commander behind the experiment on Moya.

Answer: Guido

John tells Rygel he might get lucky and they'll all die and he can have their possessions. Rygel tells him that's not fair, to which John replies, "Sparky, Spanky, Fluffy, Buckwheat the Sixteenth. You tried to sell us out." He first uses Guido in "Through the Looking Glass," and uses it many more times, just not this time.

Answer: I have to pee

While trying to draw the attention of Scorpius and the Peacekeepers, John asks D'Argo this question, and he responds with "I have to pee." The two don't have to wait long, because Pilot informs them that the Peacekeepers are withdrawing from the area where Moya was hiding and are chasing after them.

Answer: Kirk and Spock, and Abbot and Costello

John and D'Argo have a moment before they go, knowing they will probably die. John tells D'Argo, "I love hangin' with you, man," and then shows him his dad's good luck charm. D'Argo asks if it works, and John says, "I'm alive. So far." Then he laughs and says, "Kirk and Spock. Abbott and Costello. First base." And then he blows the hatch, sending them out into space.

Answer: D'Argo

Just before John and D'Argo bail on the transport pod headed for the gammack base, John wonders why he isn't afraid, and D'Argo offers him the above line. And seeing as how the last image of the season is of John and D'Argo floating in space over a burning moon, he may have been right.
