"Felicity" First Part of Season One Quiz

Yes, Ben is an only child; but he couldn't think of anything else to write about for his college admissions essay. Funny though, Ben isn't supposed to be very smart, but when Noel reads part of the essay, it sounds pretty good!

If you notice in this same episode you'll see a copy of this book underneath a bowl at the party that night. This was kind of a joke, because when Noel asks Felicity if she has any special requests, she asks him for the book.

You hear references to Kelvin Hall all throughout season one. I picked it out during the "Hot Objects" episode, when Felicity tells Ben about the party at Kelvin.

Julie dressed as Catwoman and Felicity dressed up as the Bride of Frankenstein; hoping to match with Ben who was supposed to dress as Frankenstein. Elena was the Subway employee. And we all remember that Ben ends up making out with the girl dressed as the pink power ranger. Felicity sees them and leaves the party crying, only to get back to the dorm to be consoled with Noel.

Answer: Pay Day

Ben buys Julie Pay Day's while she's depressed about her birth mom. Noel's is about to tell him not to use the vending machine because it's broke, but it works for Ben.
Noel: "Of course. I never pictured you as a Pay Day kind of guy."
Ben: "You picture me?"
Noel: "What? No! Um...I just...I needed something to say. And that's unfortunately, what came together."
Ben: "Right. No, they're for Julie, she loves these things."

Answer: At a party at the dorm

You can see Elena in the background when Felicity is talking to her Inorganic Chemistry teacher, but they never speak until the party. At the party right after Julie tells Felicity that Ben calls her all the time and asks her out all the time. Felicity gets upset and Elena asks what's wrong with her.

This is another great episode. I love the friendship between Noel and Elena. They decide to go to the party together dressed as Subway employees. Elena ends up at the party but without Noel, when she runs into the Tin Man. The next morning when Noel comes by to apoligize for not showing up, he remainds Elena, "just be careful, I, uh, hear he doesn't have a heart."

After the disaster at the dorm party, Felicity heads to pick up a container of Ben and Jerry's icecream to drown her sorrows. Once back to the dorm she eats the whole container and then falls asleep. Only to be woken up by a knock on the door from Ben. As Ben walks in, Felicity tries to hide the empty container.

Answer: Susan

When Felicity is getting her student ID picture taken, Ben walks by with Susan. He kisses Susan and then tells her, "I know this girl from high school." Then he can't even remember Felicity's name. Felicity is shocked to see Ben with another girl, and that he can't even remember her name.

She stares in shock as they walk away and the camera flashes as her ID picture is taken, capturing that moment in time.

This is one of my favorite episodes. Meghan gives Noel the smart powder with beets in it and he goes nuts. I love the exchange with him and Elena.
Noel wants to know if she's seen Felicity. Elena takes one look at him and says, "What the heck are you on!" So hilarious!
