1. With the tear to the Net guarded by Megabyte's viral forces, the rebels needed a distraction to occupy the virals air defenses. What was used as the distraction?

Answer: The "Saucy Mare"

Needing a big distraction to break past Megabyte's fortification, the "Saucy Mare" was sacrificed. Operating in auto-pilot mode, it headed right at the viral air forces guarding the tear. The virals warned it to turn back, but with no response, they opened fire. Little did they know that the ship had been rigged with multiple explosives, which promptly exploded and destroyed the virals. Unfortunately for Captain Capacitor, his ship was destroyed as well.

2. With the distraction proving to be a success, the attack began. Before the main offensive could begin, however, the rebels had to do what?

Answer: Destroy the virals manning automatic turrets.

With the air forces destroyed by the "Saucy Mare", the ground defense forces had to be annihilated before the rebels could attack. Matrix ordered them to fire their rocket launchers at the enemy turrets. All turrets were eventually destroyed and the offensive begun.

3. Disgusted by the pain Megabyte caused him as a child, Matrix headed into the Principal Office to finally face Megabyte. He was surprised that Matrix survived the games at all. Aiming with his gun, Matrix readied for the kill when Megabyte persuaded Matrix to fight hand-to-hand against him. Matrix got the first punch in on Megabyte. What did the punch do to Megabyte?

Answer: It dented him

After Matrix saved Phong from the viral binomes, Phong warned Matrix that Megabyte was behind him. Matrix dodged the kill shot, while Megabyte expressed surprise that Matrix was alive after all that time. Matrix took out his gun and aimed at Megabyte. Megabyte told Matrix how he'd changed, in that he did not call Megabyte "Megabreath", or other such names. Megabyte told Matrix to drop his gun and fight like a real sprite. Matrix lowered his weapon and advanced on Megabyte. Megabyte thought that Matrix was a joke, until Matrix unleashed his most furious punch.

The punch sent Megabyte halfway across the room with a huge dent in his chest.

4. With Megabyte changing the rules of the fight on the fly, by using his claws, Matrix was nervous. Fortunately, AndrAIa was there and she gave something to Matrix so the fight would be evened up once again. What did she throw to Matrix?

Answer: Her trident

After denting Megabyte, Matrix plowed him through a wall before pinning him on the ground and bashing away at his head. Megabyte then grabbed Matrix's hand, and extended his claws. Matrix dodged just in time to avoid the kill shot. Matrix pointed out that Megabyte said they wouldn't use weapons. With that, Megabyte called Matrix the pretender, just like he did when Matrix was still a child guardian. Readying for the kill, Megabyte was distracted when AndrAIa showed up and tossed her trident to Matrix. Once again, the fight was on even footing.

5. While the battle raged on at the Principal Office, the scene at Hexadecimal's lair was just as intense. Hexadecimal did not want to let Bob leave her lair. Noticing a problem with Hex, Bob wanted her to let him help with the problem. What did Bob do to Hexadecimal?

Answer: He fixed Hexadecimal's broken mask.

Having a tea party at a very bad time, Hexadecimal did not want to let the guardian leave her lair. Bob tried to escape several times, but each time he tried, he was promptly dragged back to his chair. After his last attempt, he noticed the crack in Hexadecimal's mask.

He told her that it looked painful and that he could help her. She told Bob that she did not know if she could let him do that. With that, he used his new Glitch powers to repair her mask, turning her from an enemy virus into a valuable ally. Bob's decision not to delete Hex pays it's dividends in season four.

6. With the fight between Matrix and Megabyte raging on at the top of the Principal Office, Megabyte seemed to have the upper hand. After picking up his weapon, Matrix and Megabyte went right at each other in full force. Matrix ended up winning the battle by doing what to Megabyte?

Answer: Breaking Megabyte's claws.

Matrix raised the trident and Megabyte raised his claws. The two lunged at each other with a full-out burst of anger and raw power. The trident met with Megabyte's claws and the trident broke Megabyte's claws off cleanly. Megabyte was defeated. He grasped his hand and fell over where Matrix was getting ready to kill him.

7. Pinning Megabyte to the ground with his foot, Matrix raised up his weapon and got ready for what Megabyte thought was deletion. Matrix, instead, stabbed beside Megabyte. According to Matrix, why didn't he delete Megabyte?

Answer: Megabyte wasn't worth it.

After breaking Megabyte's claws, Matrix stomped on his throat and raised his weapon. Matrix told Megabyte that he destroyed his life, his home, and caused nothing but pain and suffering for everyone he cared about. Afterwords, he struck with the weapon. He hit an inch or two to the right of Megabyte's head citing that it just wasn't worth it.

8. Megabyte, shamed by his defeat, launched himself off of the Principal Office roof. He talked back to Matrix and then moved the tear down to where he was. Megabyte stabilized the tear into a portal to where?

Answer: The Net

Megabyte told Matrix to be reminded of how Megabyte's defeat was actually his victory, in that Matrix was left with a dying a system too damaged to repair. He then moved the tear down to his location and then using Phong's codes, he stabilized it into a portal to the Net. Escape wouldn't be as easy as he thought, however.

9. Noticing that Megabyte was trying to escape via the portal he stabilized, Mouse made sure that Megabyte would not get the chance to infect more systems. As Megabyte got ready to enter the portal, Mouse changed the portal. What was the new destination of the portal?

Answer: The Web

With Megabyte ready to leave Mainframe, Mouse spotted him and converted the portal into a port back to the Web. With his hand half-way in, Megabyte was grabbed by web-creatures and then pulled into the Web. Someone familiar even came out of the portal after Megabyte went inside.

10. Mouse's plan worked! Megabyte was gone from Mainframe and also away from anywhere else he could possibly cause harm. On another positive note, someone very familiar came out of the portal that Megabyte was dragged into. Who was it?

Answer: Ray Tracer

After Megabyte was dragged into the Web, Ray Tracer used the opening to get into Mainframe. Shortly after his entrance, the portal closed. After the battle had concluded, Bob was sent to Matrix's location, by a new, peaceful Hexadecimal. As Bob asked what he had missed, it was discovered that before Megabyte left, he initiated a system crash.
