Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This is the only person who had not been attending weekly briefings in the episode "Night."

Answer: Janeway

She was going through what seemed to be a bought of depression because it was her actions which stranded everyone in the Delta Quadrant. Chakotay was the only person that she would see and in one scene, he tried to get her to come to the holodeck with him, but she refused. Janeway only emerged from her quarters when the ship was attacked - she ended up saving Chakotay and Neelix from one of the aliens on board.
2. One of the three people whose memories were not erased in "Workforce."

Answer: Kim

Kim, Neelix and Chakotay had been on an away mission. When they eventually found the ship, they learned that the doctor had become the Emergency Command Hologram and hidden the ship after the crew was taken. On the planet, Torres and Paris were getting to be friends, Janeway moved in with someone, and Tuvok went 'crazy'.
3. This character ran a "Beowolf" holodeck program in the first season.

Answer: Kim

Kim was, of course, Beowolf. However, there was an accident (isn't there always with the holodecks?) and Kim was 'killed'. It was up to the crew to find out what happened to him. The Doctor was eventually pressed into service and he entered the program to try and destroy Grendel - and ended up falling in love with the Shield Maiden in the program.
4. True or false: When the Doctor had a holographic family, his son died in the course of the program.

Answer: False

It was his daughter (Belle) who died after a Parises Squares accident. His son (who had left home to go off with a bunch of Klingon friends) returned with his wife (who had gone off to give a talk) and the three stayed by Belle's side until she died. When the Doctor learned that Belle was going to die, he originally decided to stop running the program but was later convinced that he was avoiding pain and should be there to comfort his 'family'.
5. This character did not procreate in any form during the series.

Answer: Chakotay

Janeway and Paris procreated in the episode "Threshold" after having 'evolved' into amphibians. And, of course, Torres and Paris had a daughter who was born in the last episode. Chakotay, on the other hand, thought he was a father after Seska announced that the child she was carrying was his. Turned out she was lying, it was actually a Kazon's child.
6. This character was invited to be a part of the Think Tank group in the episode "Think Tank."

Answer: 7

Yet another episode of someone wanting 7 for themselves. The Think Tank had 'trapped' Voyager by paying off people to hunt down the ship. Then the Think Tank went over to Voyager offering to help them solve their 'problem'. But, of course, Voyager's crew was too smart and they got together with those paid to hunt the ship down. Voyager wanted to "Out think the think tank."
7. Q referred to Janeway by this name:

Answer: Kathy

He even got his son to call her "Aunt Kathy" because, after all, she was his godmother. Q seems to go after the person in power in each of the series - he taunted Picard the most, Sisko as well, and then had a fixation on Janeway. However, I think Q's appearences on Voyager were funnier than his on the Enterprise or Deep Space Nine - he seems to have mellowed with age.
8. This person, who had arrived in the Delta Quadrant aboard Voyager in "Caretaker," had previously been a member of the Maquis crew.

Answer: Paris

Torres arrived on the Liberty (Chakotay's Maquis ship) - and she wasn't a member of the Voyager crew, although she had attended the Academy. Tuvok was a member of Voyager's crew, but he arrived on the Liberty because, at the time, he was working undercover (this is why Voyager ended up in the Delta Quadrant in the first place - they went to find Tuvok on the Liberty). Seska was one of the Maquis officers who arrived on the Liberty.

However, Paris was on board Voyager when it arrived in the Delta Quadrant - he had been a Maquis on the Liberty but left the group and was eventually sent to prison in New Zealand, where Janeway found him and brought him aboard.
9. In "The Killing Game," this character led the group of Klingons into a World War II battle.

Answer: Neelix

The Hirogen turned almost the entire ship into a holodeck so they could study the crew... er, prey. Although in the first scene, we see Janeway as a Klingon, she was later sent into the WWII simulation where she portrayed the leader of the resistance. Neelix became the 'leader' of the group of Klingons and led them into the WWII battle to help the resistance and Allies defeat the Nazis (also known as the Hirogen).
10. This is not one of the things that Chakotay either built or mentioned wanting to build in the episode "Resolutions."

Answer: porch swing

The bath tub is one of the first things he built - Janeway was complaining about 'roughing it' when Chakotay mentioned that they had replicators and other technologies. Janeway countered by saying that they didn't have a bathtub. The headboard is what we see him building later - he had noticed how Janeway would sit up and read in bed and thought that they should have something more comfortable.

The boat is what he mentioned wanting to build in a scene after the plasma storm - Janeway had mentioned wanting to explore the river.

However, a porch swing was never mentioned - maybe because they didn't have a porch (yet!)
