"Bust A Groove" was first released in 1998. It was developed by Metro Graphics and published by Enix in Japan. The game was mainly designed to simulate a dancing competition, but it also features elements of fighting by being able to physically interrupt rivals. Through Kitty-N, Gas-O, Frida, and other characters, players must dance better than the other dancers to win this breakdancing game.
Heat is the main character of "Bust A Groove" After suffering a racing accident, Heat recovered and became a talented dancer.
2. ___ Harry
Answer: Pitfall
Pitfall Harry is the main character of Atari's "Pitfall!", which was designed by David Crane. Sequels of the game were also released for PlayStation, Gamecube, and Xbox. In the original game, Pitfall Harry had to swing on vines and jump over dangerous scorpions and alligators as he journeyed through a jungle in search of a treasure.
The video game was briefly adapted into a TV segment on CBS's "Saturday Supercade" in 1983.
3. Gabriel Logan

"Syphon Filter" was first released in 1999 as a PlayStation game. The game featured the U.S. agents Gabriel "Gabe" Logan and Lian Xing, who had to eliminate a virus and also take down a terrorist organization. Logan was the main character and was said to be a former top U.S. military official with many skills.
The game had several sequels, including "Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain" and "Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow".
4. Agent 17 ("Otto")
Answer: Elevator Action
Players of "Elevator Action" were tasked with stealing secret documents by sneaking into the elevator systems of tall buildings. The Japanese game was originally released in 1983 by Taito. The protagonist, known only as Agent 17 or by his codename Otto, had to find rooms with red doors and then successfully remove classified documents from them.
The game was successful enough for the developers to release a sequel, "Elevator Action Returns", for arcades.
5. Alis Landale

"Phantasy Star" is considered by many to be a classic RPG (role-playing video game) released for the Sega Master System console. In the game, Japanese heroine Alis Landale sets out to avenge her brother's death by fighting King Lassic. Her mission then expands to saving the star system Algol or Algo. Versions of this game, designed by Kotaro Hayashida, were later released for other consoles like the Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo Switch.
The original game was first released in 1987.
6. Gilius Thunderhead

"Golden Axe" is an arcade video game originally developed and released by Sega in 1989. In this game, the player has to hack their way into Death Adder and defeat its army. One of the game's heroes is Gilius Thunderhead, a dwarf seeking revenge for the death of his brother. Thunderhead wears a green helmet and tunic, as well as brown boots.
7. John Tanner

John Tanner is the main character in the "Driver" series of games, beginning with the original "Driver: You Are the Wheelman" (1999). In this game, you play as an undercover NYPD cop (Tanner) who drives criminals around and does various odd jobs for them while investigating. Tanner, who was voiced by Canadian actor Bradley Lavelle, ultimately saves none other than the president of the United States.

The "Tekken" game franchise began in 1994 with the release of the first game by Bandai Namco Studios for PlayStation. Players got to fight increasingly difficult opponents and unlock new arenas as they progressed. The game was lauded for its great 3D visuals considering it was published in the early 1990s. Eddy Gordo first appeared in the "Tekken 3" game and is a great character to use against novice "Tekken" players to easily defeat them. Gordo is from Brazil and is skilled in the martial art of capoeira.
9. Lance Bean (aka "Scorpion")

"Contra" is a Japanese-produced video game released by Konami in 1987. The game was first designed to be played as an arcade video game, but was subsequently released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. "Contra" follows two marines, Bill Rizer and Lance Bean, in their quest to stop the evil Red Falcon organization. Lance Bean was a highly-skilled soldier.
The game "Contra: Shattered Soldier" reveals that Bean was killed by his former brother-in-arms Bill Rizer.
10. Samus Aran

The "Metroid" video game series began in 1986 when the eponymous first game of the franchise was released by Nintendo. In the game, Samus Aran uses her superpowers to fight the Space Pirates, initially only by jumping. The series also includes a variety of other games, such as "Metroid Prime" and "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption". Players who successfully finished the game in less than five hours were surprised by the fact that Samus was actually female.
Many gamers saw this as a breakthrough moment because she was one of the first prominent female video game characters.
