"AFL Challenge" is one of a number of games based on the concept of Australian Rules Football. This one was developed by Wicked Witch Software and published in 2009 for the PS2 Portable and in 2010 for the PS2 Network.
The game takes players through an entire season, culminating in the Grand Final. As coaches, you are required to train your players in the art of kicking, tackling and running. In game play you will have the options of playing in Quick match mode or Season mode.

Published in 2001 for both Windows and PS2, this game was a finalist for the Sports Award at Computer Gaming World's 2001 Premier Awards. The football in this case is soccer and "FIFA 2001" offers full game simulations with various modes that will increase the difficulty level.
Covers of the game varied around the globe and were set according to where it was to be distributed. For example, in the United Kingdom, Manchester United's Paul Scholes featured on the cover, DC United's Ben Olsen was on the cover in North America and Valencia's Gaizka Mendieta graced the cover of the Spanish edition.
3. Real Madrid
Answer: Needs a Football
Another soccer game. This one, though, was a one-off release launched by Virgin Play in 2007. The reason it's a one-off is that Virgin Play was liquidated two years later. 4. Madden
Answer: Needs a Football

During the period 2004 to 2022 it was the only officially licensed NFL video game series. The advantage for you, as a player, is that it allowed you to tap into playbooks and player statistics.
The first in the series of "Madden NFL" was the 2000 model, which was launched in 1999.
5. Colin McRae
Answer: Needs Wheels
"Colin McRae Rally 2005" is presented as a realistic rally simulation game, to the point that the car you're driving can be scratched, the engine can be damaged, glass can be broken, and a blurred vision field can be generated. Released for PS2 in 2004, the game provides you with a list of 30 cars to choose from, as well as a career mode, which allows you to start in the lower leagues and build your skills to the point where you can be pitted against McRae in the famous 2004 Dakar Rally.
6. Juiced
Answer: Needs Wheels
"Juiced" (2005) is a car racing game that is set in the fictional Angel City, in California. The game provides racing in four different ways;
- Circuit: which is a closed track with a set number of laps and it is a pure race to the finish.
- Point to Point: As the name suggests, you are racing from point A to point B and it is a case of who gets the first is the winner.
- Sprint: This is a straight line drag race with a slight twist... the automatic transmission is disabled and you will need to change gears manually.
- Show-Off: This is your chance to gain points by performing a range of stunts. Tutorials are provided.
7. Dirt to Daytona
Answer: Needs Wheels
The missing word from the title, which would have given the question away, is NASCAR. "NASCAR Dirt to Daytona" was created for PS2 and GameCube and was released in 2002. It is a racing simulator game that allows you to compete in the Winston Cup series, the Dodge Weekly Racing series, the Craftsman Truck series and the Featherlite Modified Tour.
Some of the advertising on the vehicles, particularly those showing alcohol and tobacco, have been censored. All of the above named series will feature fantasy drivers with the Craftsman Truck series also showcasing real life racers.
8. Tony Hawk
Answer: Needs Wheels
"Tony Hawk's American Wasteland" (2005) is the seventh entry in the "Tony Hawk" series of skateboarding games. This version, though, is the first that allows you to play it as an "open world" game in story book mode. Essentially you move through a storyline, as you move through the picture. Your movement between levels is almost seamless and, as well as skateboarding maneuvers, you are also able to collect and perform tricks on BMX bikes.
9. Brian Lara
Answer: No Footballs/No Wheels
Released in 2005, "Brian Lara International Cricket 2005" takes you through the 2003 Cricket World Cup and the 2004 ICC Champion's Trophy. Apart from these two tournaments, you have the alternative options of playing in Test Match mode, Test series mode, One Day International style, or in practice mode.
Not all of the player licenses on the world tour belonged to Codemaster so some familiar names have been altered just enough to avoid infringements. For example, the player listed a S. Worde, bears a strong resemblance to star leg-spinner Shane Warne.
(Footnote) In New Zealand and Australia, this game is marketed as "Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2005".
10. Andre Agassi
Answer: No Footballs/No Wheels
"Agassi Tennis Generation" (2003) for PS2 is a challenge that can be played in either in single or multiplayer modes. You can work your way through a range of 16 different tournaments, play on various surfaces and choose between three styles of game play - Quick Match, Arcade and Championship mode.

11. Gallop Racer
Answer: No Footballs/No Wheels
This series of games was created by Tecmo in 1996. "Gallop Racer" is a horse racing game that is more than just a race to the finish post. You need to manage your stable, from the purchase of the horses, to training them, racing them and, ultimately, creating a breeding programme for them. You get to race the horses at four different levels, with the higher levels requiring the horse to achieve certain standards or a number of wins to unlock them.
12. Billy the Wizard
Answer: No Footballs/No Wheels
As the old "Monty Python" slogan used to say... "and now for something completely different". "Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing" was developed by Data Design Interactive and released in 2006. It pits you against a range of wizards as you all compete for the honour of winning the Broomstick Grand Prix.
There are four stages in the game and each stage has five different levels and, as you work your way through these levels, you get the opportunity to use your magics to blast opponents out of the sky. You can stock up on weapons by skillfully skimming over the tops of trees or flying low under bridges.
