Carlton played the character known as Tayrn in both films. Sidaris has made several films based on secret agents tracking down drug smugglers, would-be terrorists and jewel thieves. He often cast former "Playboy" Playmates in the starring roles. All of the actresses mentioned in this question have appeared in at least one of his movies. Carlton also appeared in the Sidaris film "Picasso Trigger". Her film resume included the T.V. mini-series based on the Stephen King novel "The Stand". The July of 1985 issue also featured a pictorial of singer and actress Grace Jones, a movie review for the Chevy Chase film "Fletch" and an interview with famed movie director Rob Reiner.

The March 1955 issue was never printed. The main reason being that after the initial year in 'Playboy's' press run, the circulation had risen from 70,000 to 175,000 copies. By 1955 the circulation nearly doubled again. Orders flooded the magazine's Chicago offices at such a rate that its tiny staff was overwhelmed. Fortuneatly this problem never arose again. The front cover was white with the words "'PLAYBOY' ENTERTAINMENT FOR MEN" in black across the top and a blue question mark in the centre.
