1. How did Christopher escape the giant's mouth?

From Quiz "Everworld" Book Eleven: "Mystify the Magician"

Answer: He kicked its teeth out

Christopher had been picked up and thrown into the giant's mouth while trying to draw its attention away from April. Immediately, hot, disgusting breath filled his nostrils as he bounced around the large mouth. He wedged himself in between the giant's teeth and cheek. He pulled his legs in and kicked them as hard as he could at a tooth. He managed to knock it out, causing the monster to bellow in pain. Christopher then placed the tooth on another as the giant bit down very hard. The giant screamed in pain and spit Christopher out.

At the end of book nine, "Inside the Illusion," chaos reigned and Merlin was nowhere to be found. David took some of the treasure left over from the temple of Isis and paid a Greek sailor to take everyone back to Olympus. However, David noticed a ship coming right at them, propelled by a magic wind. David knew that it could only have been Merlin.

So Jalil, April, Christopher, David, and Senna, along with a group of Coo-Hatch, left Olympus to find a witch.

Olympus was a beautiful city that truly fit the gods of Everworld. April and the others slept in luxurious beds and were fed better than anywhere else they had been. The table-sized tray of food presented to April had so many delicious foods, including shrimp, six different kinds of grapes, eggs from geese, chickens (even hummingbirds), goat's milk, unicorn's milk, and a variety of cakes. The oranges were so good she even cried.

When the kids noticed the sun coming up, they heard a beautiful song being sung. They realized that the trees were singing because of the sunrise. David, April, Jalil, and Christopher were incidentally pulled through a vortex created by the evil god Loki. His intent was to capture Senna, the witch, but she managed to escape the vortex. Loki, the Norse god of destruction, was extremely large and intimidating. Upon meeting the kids, he said "Welcome to Everworld" and then demanded to know where Senna had been taken.

Merlin knew that if they were able to free Baldur, Thor, and Odin, the Vikings would rally to fight against the Hetwan and Ka Anor. He left to find Thor's powerful hammer Mjolnir.

Christopher and the other were awakened in the middle of the night. The giant had been killed, but the faeries didn't know how. Jalil and Christopher jumped onto its body and noticed several bullet holes. The holes were from an automatic machine gun - a weapon far too advanced for the Coo-Hatch to make. The giant was killed by a real-world person with a gun.

In previous adventures, David and the others had seen unicorns, leprechauns, dragons, nymphs, and many other creatures. They had never seen a mermaid. When Neptune, Roman god of the sea, pulled them down into his city, mermaids were one of the first things the kids noticed. They were all gorgeous and moved gracefully in the water.

Cassandra burst into April's room and gave a prophecy. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she described Hetwan invading Olympus, getting a hold of Senna, and finding an "alien blacksmith." Jalil pointed out that the myth of Cassandra was that she always spoke the truth, but was cursed to never be believed. The kids immediately forgot her prophecy and shrugged her off.

Finally, he applied to a copy place and got a job immediately.

April knew that it was of course impossible geologically for five different kinds of metals to be so near one another, but it was Everworld, and the normal rules did not apply. The dwarfs were skilled using all types of metals.

The Druids had been divided into different factions, each with its own specialty. They were smart wizards that served the king. There were many different kinds: the Black followed the stars, the Green dealt with the land and water, the Red were advisers to the king and other powerful people, the Blue were experts in learning and medicine, and the newest group, the Yellow Druids, were in charge of technology.

Previously, Jalil had knocked Senna unconscious and had used her to save the others. Senna was almost uncontrollably mad at him. Senna knew that it would affect him in a horrible way.

Keith tracked Christopher down and threatened to hurt his family if he told anyone about what he had been told.
