1. Aboard Galactica, a group reads Jammer a list of crimes he committed while part of the New Caprica Police, and then finds him guilty of those charges. How do they end up carrying out the sentence?

Answer: Sending him out of the airlock

Jammer originally signed up for the New Caprica Police in order to help people, which Tigh is not impressed by. He pleads for his life, telling Tyrol that he helped save Cally's life when she was supposed to be up against a firing squad. However, because others were killed under his command, including Charlie Connor's son, he is still sentenced to death for his actions by being sent out of the airlock of a Viper tube.

Jammer, who survived the suicide bomb and was seen digging his way out from several bodies in a deleted scene, is met by Cavil. He gets a list of humans to round up and put in the detention center that includes Cally. During the night, the New Caprica Police goes around to the tents, and they take Cally from her bed with Nicky crying in his crib. At some point later, Chief Tyrol returns to his tent to find Nicky still crying and Cally gone.

As is seen later in the episode, The Circle requires six members to operate, because when Anders quits they require a new member and recruit Starbuck to create a quorum.

Answer: Drones are launched to appear as both battlestars in orbit

A small group of Vipers protect Galactica's Raptors while they fire drones in two separate groups that show up on both human and Cylon DRADIS as battlestars. On Colonial One, the ploy is confirmed by Boomer until a phone call much further on to D'Anna shows they are just drones. With Raiders and base stars on opposite sides of the planet, the Cylons and scattered and confused as to the actual location of the human fleet.

Answer: The resistance squad

As Cally runs off into the woods at the end of 'Precipice', we hear gunfire and are left to assume that the Cylon firing squad has opened fire on the detainees. Instead, Tyrol tackles Cally as she is in the line of fire, and the resistance squad opens fire on the Cylon firing squad, taking out the Centurions. They also kill most of the humanoid Cylons except for one Cavil, who Barolay leaves shot on the ground writhing in pain.

Answer: A Heavy Raider

The two insurgents wait until they see two Centurions, three Sixes, an Eight, and two Fours until they detonate the device. There is a long delay before the explosive goes off, after which everyone else in the city notices the explosion. Leoben can't help but comment "Frakking insurgents" when he sees the smoke rising from the detonation, and Tigh brings it up later, approving of the destruction of the Heavy Raider.

Answer: He is trying to have a child with his wife

Duck and his wife Nora say in the first episode that they are working on having their first child, but he still shows promise as a recruit for the resistance due to his reaction to the New Caprica Police. In the second episode, he uses having the child as his reason for not wanting to join the resistance. Colonel Tigh does not accept this, and tells Jammer to make a stronger push to get Duck to join.

Adama even appears to respond to something Six says, which shocks Baltar. Shortly before Roslin leans in to kiss him, Baltar realizes he is dreaming and in fact not aboard Colonial One. As soon as their lips touch, he wakes up on a Base Star.

Answer: Jumps Galactica into the atmosphere and launches the Vipers in free fall

Up to this point, Galactica had not seen any action, but Adama gives the odd order of "All hands, brace for turbulence" when Kelly and Helo report the ship is ready to jump. Just as the Cylons find out the "battlestars" are actually drones, Galactica jumps into the high atmosphere of New Caprica and starts a complete free fall over the city. Vipers are launched through the flames of the atmospheric friction, and all Hot Dog can say is, "Well, this ought to be different." Galactica then jumps out at the last second having sustained heavy damage from the entire ordeal.

As Leoben begins to ascend the stairs, he asks Starbuck if she remembers the farm on Caprica. When she remarks she remembered blowing it up, he claims it was not a total loss and they were able to save one of her ovaries. He then brings in a blonde girl in his arms, and introduces Kacey to her by saying that Starbuck is her mother.

Answer: The Cylons do not go in because it is sacred ground

During the first two webisodes, Tigh and Tyrol talk about how one of their members had been killed by the Cylons for harboring weapons and that they need a new hiding spot. They choose to hide the remainder of their weapons in the temple because the Cylons respect it as sacred ground, despite Jammer's protests to the contrary. The resistance leaders see it as the perfect opportunity to hide weapons where the Cylons have proven not to go.

Admiral Adama made it clear to him that the military would not support his new presidency, so he really had no choice. In exchange for this quick transition, Roslin agrees to name him Vice President.

During Adama and Lee's walk through the corridors of Galactica arguing about the rescue mission and Sharon, Adama brings up something we had never heard before: Centurions cannot distinguish different Cylons of the same model - for example, Sharon Agathon and Boomer would look exactly the same to them, while the two Cylons would know exactly who the other was. The Cylons did this so that the Centurions would not become self-aware and begin refusing orders from certain Cylons, thereby preventing their own rebellion like that of the Cylons against the humans.

When she finishes, they wipe away at the line and then embrace. When that is done, the Adama father and son meet next to a Raptor, and Admiral Adama tells Lee to wait 18 hours at the rendezvous point until he leaves to find Earth again. Adama promises that though he may be old and slow, he won't miss the rendezvous.

While Adama and Lee are arguing, Lee makes the case that the safe bet for the human race is now the 2,000 civilians still in the fleet that they already have. He sees the rescue mission as a lost cause, since even though the Cylons have reduced their perimeter forces, they still have five base stars in orbit around New Caprica. Adama says they have a responsibility to those they left behind, and then tells Lee to take Pegasus and the fleet to continue the search for Earth.

Roslin writes in her journal that they have been getting information from someone inside Baltar's government, but they do not know who. During her voiceover, a shadowy figure who we later learn is Gaeta puts a document in a desk drawer and then flips over a dog bowl nearby. Tyrol retrieves it later in the night, and the title reads: "New Caprica Police Academy Graduation Ceremony Security Plans."

Knowing that the Cylons had killed a resistance member for harboring weapons earlier, Duck wants to know if the resistance had used the temple to hide weapons. Tyrol initially responds that it didn't matter because they Cylons thought there were. Duck does not accept this answer, and calls out Tyrol for avoiding the question. Tyrol then admits that there were weapons at the temple.
