X-Wings are starfighters from Star Wars.

It also has a number of older style vipers as museum pieces, which are similarly unaffected by the Cylon virus.

She helps him with his work of the new defense mainframe, convincing him she works for a computer company which will exploit certain aspects of the system for future contracts. In fact, the entire system is compromised and is turned against the Colonial military as a precursor to the massive Cylon nuclear bombardment of the Twelve Colonies. When the nuclear attack occurs, Number Six saves Baltar by shielding him from the blast with her body.

Emotionless, there was not much depth to them until the final episode of Galactica 1980, where Starbuck is stranded on a deserted planet with a lone Cylon, and uncovers some depth to them. Psychlos were the domineering race from "Battlefield:Earth." Cybermen were the cyborg race from "Doctor Who." Cyborgs are the general term for part-human, part machine beings.
