At the beginning of the episode, Adrianna's mom brought her to the very posh rehab facility. Adrianna briefly questioned how they can afford this place, but her mother told her not to worry about it, and suddenly became excited at the thought that Adrianna might be staying in the same room that Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan did.

They are meeting to discuss what happened on the opening night of the play, when Brenda refused to let Adrianna perform under the influence of drugs. Her mom refused to listen to the evidence of Adrianna being on drugs, and Adrianna denied it left, right and center. The principal told Adrianna that that was her only chance to ask for help, and if in the future they find her using unprescribed or illegal drugs, she will be expelled.

However, when her father came over to the house to help, her mother was out of bed, dressed, and in a seemingly good mood.

Annie is very interested in drama, and signed up to be on the backstage crew of West Beverly High's production because she arrived at the school too late to audition. With Silver's help, Annie convinced the Drama coach that she was worthy of being added to the cast. At the beginning of this episode, Annie is dismayed because the Drama coach and play's director quit, leaving Harry with almost no other choice than to cancel the whole production. Annie's grandmother Tabitha, a retired actress, volunteered to take over. Annie was thrilled until she realized how demanding and embarrassing Tabitha was going to be. Harry and Kelly recruited Brenda to help Tabitha out, and Tabitha ended up handing the reins completely over to Brenda.

Debbie was concerned that family was not spending any time together, since their move to Beverly Hills. The Wilson family move back into Harry's childhood home, where his mother Tabitha still lives. The first part of the two-part episode was entitled "We're Not in Kansas Anymore". Part Two is called "The Jet Set".

In this episode, we saw Annie going over the rules of the road with Dixon (who already has his license) and then practicing in-car with her mom. Annie later passed her test with a perfect score, and got her learner's permit. The only one who wasn't too happy was Harry; he wasn't thrilled that his daughter would soon be behind the wheel of his car.

Brenda and Kelly were having lunch at the high school, and Brenda joked that she could still hear the cries of "Donna Martin graduates!", an allusion to a third season episode of "Beverly Hills, 90210" in which Donna Martin was going to be prevented from graduating her friends because she was found to be drunk at the Senior prom. Her friends organized a rally in which the entire Senior class and most of the Juniors marched from the high school to the school board meeting, chanting "Donna Martin graduates!" Back in the present, Kelly then remarked to Brenda, "Speaking of Donna, have you seen her baby?" It was not revealed whether Donna is still married to David Silver, or if the baby is his.

She asked Dixon if he would go with her, and then take care of her after. He pretended that he didn't care about Homecoming either, and agreed to stay home with her.

The teacher assigned couples, and gave each of them one of those fake babies that all television high school kids have to take care of for a week. One of the lacrosse players started making a fuss about childcare being woman's work, so the teacher paired him up with Navid. Further, she made Navid the working parent, and the lacrosse player was to be the stay-at-home caregiver. Annie and Ethan also got paired up together.

In this episode, Antonio was desperately trying to find a second photographer to help with the big fashion show, and he agreed to give Debbie a chance. The current rumour is that neither Gabrielle Carteris or Mark Damon Espinoza will reprise their roles as Hannah's parents.

She impressed him when she understood and replied in fluent Spanish, but Ozzie soon guessed the reason why she was fluent - she'd had a Honduran nanny when she was little.
