Much to the dismay of Annie and Dixon, who both already had other and better plans, Debbie planned a mandatory night of bowling for Friday night at the Lucky Strike bowling alley.

Ty asked Annie to go with him to The Pier, to see a hot new band. When Annie had to cancel because of Family Night, they decided that Ty would swing by the Lucky Strike before heading to the pier to see if Annie could skip out early on Family Night and go with him to the concert. While Silver did end up at the bowling alley as well, it was Dixon who invited her, not Annie.

She was excited about going, and about spending time with him, but when he arrived at school to pick her up, he told her that he couldn't go because he was very busy at work.

Instead, he handed her the keys to the shiny new car he had pulled up in, and revealed that he bought matching cars for Naomi and her mother to make up for canceling the trip.

When Ryan said that he'd love to meet Sammy one day, Kelly said that Ryan has only ever met one guy that Kelly dated seriously, and that was his father. She said that his father was someone she had a long history with, going back to high school, which still seems to lead to Dylan McKay, but that would be far too obvious, wouldn't it?

On her way to the bowling alley, Naomi went to her dad's office to bring him some food because he said he was working so hard. Instead, she sees her dad walking a strange woman to her car, and making out with her. She later told her mom, who revealed that she already knew her husband was cheating.

When Naomi showed up at the bowling upset at having seen her dad cheating, Adrianna pulled Ethan away from everyone else and said that Naomi needed him. Annie went outside to help too, but Ethan was already comforting Naomi, and left with her to take her home. Because Annie was concerned about Naomi, Ty ditched her, sending a text to say that he didn't want to miss the band's performance. Annie instead went with Dixon and the boys to see the Bond movie.

Dixon found Silver sleeping in her car and told her that they had to tell his dad what was going on. The Wilsons said that Silver could stay with them as long as she liked, and Harry Wilson went to talk to Kelly instead of talking directly to Silver's mother.

It was revealed that Kelly hadn't seen her mom in some time, and didn't know how bad the situation was getting. She went to see her to talk about Silver. Ann Gillespie reprised her role from the old "90210" series as Jackie Taylor, mother to Kelly Taylor and Erin Silver. Jackie was furious that Kelly was accusing her of being a poor mother, and she got mad at both girls and kicked them out. Kelly took Silver home to her house.

Just like Debbie had done at the beginning of the episode, Annie and Dixon made a big breakfast and insisted that everyone sit down at the table to enjoy it. They spent time together over breakfast, talking and having the kind of family togetherness that their parents wanted while not having to sacrifice their own social lives.
