Answer: Ruth Connell

Ruth Connell played Rowena, who was a witch and also Crowley's mother. She spent much of season 10 scheming to gain power - from the Grand Coven and from her son. When the season ended, she had put a spell on Cas to kill Crowley and escaped with the "Book of the Damned" and the "Codex".

Claire killed the grigori, but the creature killed Amelia first.

Then, Dean lost his temper with the angel that had killed him at the end of season 9. The result was that Metatron gave them no information and Cas lost credibility with the Angels for allowing Metatron to be harmed while in his possession. Metatron was returned to prison and Dean's situation continued on its downward spiral.

The Novak story was wrapped up, with Amelia joining Jimmy in heaven, and Claire going to stay with Sheriff Mills for a while.

Cas and Sam broke him out of prison in "Inside Man," in the hopes of getting his help with the Mark of Cain. Sam and Cas worked well together, with help from Bobby. They removed his angel grace, and while he did not help with the Mark of Cain, he did agree to give Cas his remaining grace. In "Book of the Damned," Metatron led Cas to his grace, and while Cas was struggling against a spell Metatron used and recovering his grace, Metatron retrieved the demon tablet and escaped.

The clash of personalities between Charlie and Rowena made for some entertaining dialogue during "Dark a Dynasty." To do so, though, Dean had to stop Dark Charlie, and the Mark of Cain caused him to lose control and hurt her. Charlie forgave him, but Dean could not forgive himself.

The confrontation between Dean and Crowley later in the episode was intense, with Crowley telling Dean to "pick a bloody side," and finally realizing he could not control Dean. Soon thereafter, he led Sam to his brother in exchange for the First Blade.

Felicia Day played Charlie Bradbury. The character was split into two people in order to win the war for Oz, but was merged again at the end of "There's No Place Like Home." She then was able to decipher the codex for the brothers, but was killed by the Stynes during "Dark Dynasty."
