Answer: A shapeshifter

The brothers originally thought they were hunting Bunny's ghost, then two ghosts. They soon realized that they were dealing with a shapeshifter, though. They gathered silver and worked to save the remaining family members, while avoiding the detective investigating the death.

Unfortunately, the detective became a victim of the shapeshifter, too. Olivia the maid, Bunny's secret daughter, turned out to be the shapeshifter.

Answer: Run over by a car

"Clown College Colette" was killed by the fall off the balcony. Stan was beheaded with an ax. And, the homicide detective was drowned in a toilet. In addition, Phillip was stabbed in the back. Nobody was run over by a car in the episode, but that was a method of murder used in other "Supernatural" episodes over the years - including one of Dean's many deaths during "Mystery Spot" in season 3.

Answer: Miss Peacock and Colonel Mustard

The entire episode was filled with fun references to the board game (and movie) "Clue". In addition to referring to characters from "Clue," Dean proceeded to search the house - to fun whodunit music. He found the door to a hidden attic, and discovered the maid trapped behind the door.

Answer: Grey Gardens

The brothers seem to be targeted by older women often. For instance, in season 9, Dean was the target of a woman in "Blade Runners." And Sam suffered through the advances of Gertrude in "Red Sky at Morning" during season 3. "Grey Gardens" was a documentary about two aging women who were relatives of Jackie Kennedy.

Answer: Impala67

When the episode began, Sam could not figure out why they detoured eight hours to the restaurant. Then, he grabbed Dean's phone, realized his brother was on a dating app - as Impala67 (Dean's car, otherwise known as "baby" is a 1967 Chevy Impala), and was there to meet the woman he had been texting.

Answer: Rowena

Dean attempted to hook up with his cyber date, and discovered she was a prostitute and that a demon was using the prostitutes to purchase souls. Sam and Dean tracked down the demon, but he had already been killed by a witch. They then started tracking the witch named Rowena.

They caught up with her just as Crowley's henchmen grabbed her. Then, after killing the demons, Dean was about to take care of the witch when another problem showed up - Cole.

Answer: Cole's father was a monster

Dean explained that Cole's father was a monster that ate people's livers, and then he did what he could to help Cole, opening up to him. Dean's conversation with Cole was heartbreaking - and Sam heard it, too. He told Cole, "Those stories we tell that keep us going, sometimes they blind us.

They take us to dark places. . . . The people who love me - they pulled me back from that edge. Cole, once you touch that darkness, it never goes away. Now, the truth is - I'm past saving. I know how my story ends - it's at the edge of a blade or the barrel of a gun. . . ." Sam then reminded Cole about his family.

The brothers convinced Cole to go home to his family.

Answer: mother

Rowena did not recognize Crowley, but he recognized her, looking shocked, and asking, "Mother?" For longtime fans of the show, this was not a complete shock. Crowley had alluded to his mother being a witch several times during the series. In "Clip Show" during season 8, he used witchcraft to kill Sarah and told the Winchesters he was the son of a witch. And, when speaking to his son during "King of the Damned" in season 9, he explained that he did not have good parental role models, since his mother was a witch.

Answer: DNA - Don't Let Them Get Away

Donna had fun reading off the titles. Jody did not look amused. Donna latched on to Jody at the Sheriff's retreat. Sunny, cheery Donna and grouchy, annoyed Jody made for a funny team. But, the two worked well together with the Winchesters when bodies started dropping.

Answer: "The Weight" by The Band

"The Weight" was playing as the brothers rolled into town. Jody called to tell them about the first strange death. She said they were not needed, but Dean wanted to hunt, and both brothers considered Jody family. They hit the road soon after her call, and arrived after the second body was discovered.

Answer: "I made it at Kinkos."

After Sam said he made the badge at Kinkos, Dean responded, "Yes, you did. Be proud of that." The banter between the brothers in this episode was matched by the banter between the odd couple of Donna and Jody.

Answer: Vampires

There were a group of vampires killing people in order to get back at a vampire that used to be part of their nest, but was now the sheriff of Hibbing. The brothers, and Jody and Donna, thought the sheriff was the killer, but soon learned it was others. A pishtaco was the monster the brothers hunted in season 9's "The Purge," the first episode where they encountered Donna.

Answer: Losing your angel blade

After this exchange, Dean and Sam then took the time to help their friend. Sam went to ask questions at the group home, while Dean and Cas chatted over lunch, and Dean got Cas to explain why he wanted to help the girl. Dean then had a heart-to-heart with his friend, and asked for his promise to kill him if the Mark of Cain made him "go dark side" again.

He also told him not to let Sam prevent him from doing it. This talk, combined with the opening scene when Dean dreamed of having massacred a group of people, combined to provide a deep foreboding about Dean and his future.

Answer: The time Dean snuck out and went to CBGB

John saved a young Dean after the boy was drunk and sick at CBGB. Dean said, "You know what he got for that? Me whining about how much he embarrassed me. Me telling him that I hated him. But then he stopped and he turned around, and he looked at me and he said - Son, you don't like me, that's fine.

It is not my job to be liked." Sam then jumped in and finished, "It's my job to raise you right." Dean finished, "And he did."

Answer: Protect her

Randy did all these things to the girl. Then, Sam, Dean and Castiel rescued her before she was raped. As Sam and Cas got the girl out of the house with Dean following in the rear, the group of criminals jumped Dean, hitting him over the head with a bottle, kicking and beating him.

This triggered the Mark of Cain, and Dean fought and killed the group of them, including the creepy Randy. While it seemed justified to a lot of fans, it was also a sign that the Mark of Cain was gaining more control over Dean.
