1. How many Tenets did the Dark Brotherhood originally follow?

The Five Tenets originally governed the Dark Brotherhood. They were as follows: 1) Never disrespect the Night Mother. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis. 2) Never betray the Dark Brotherhood or its secrets. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis. 3) Never disobey an order from a Dark Brotherhood superior. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis. 4) Never attempt to steal from a Dark Brother or Dark Sister. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis. 5) Never attempt to kill a Dark Brother or Dark Sister. To do so is to invoke the Wrath of Sithis. The Wrath of Sithis is a ghost which Sithis sends to attack those who break the Tenets.

Zurin Arctus was Tiber Septim's battlemage, and he constructed a control device for the Numidium during Septim's use of it. In "The Elder Scrolls Online", Sheogorath mentions to the player character something about reassembling the Numidium about 300 years prior to Tiber Septim's time. And Dagoth Ur oversaw a reconstruction of the Numidium centuries later; he powered it with the Heart of Lorkhan, and renamed it Akulakhan.

However, in both situations, you are not told what you're in trouble for, or how long your sentence is. The Cells of Hollow Hand is the area of Arkngthand you can find the Dwemer Puzzle Box, an early Blades quest item. The others are imaginary.

It is said that Sithis once came to a Dunmer woman who had five children. Sithis decreed that if she killed all of her children, she could marry him. The woman accepted and did as she was told. However, the people of her village learnt of her deed and chased her into a wooden building, which they burnt to the ground. It was many years later that the wreckage was removed, and the woman and children's remains were found. However, Sithis had granted the woman's wish, and her rotting corpse lived on, recruiting her finders as the first Dark Brothers and Dark Sisters.

In "Morrowind" the Thieves' Guild is an Imperial newcomer to two already established Dunmer guilds. The Camonna Tong is seen as evil, and can not be joined. The Morag Tong is a legal assassins guild that is hidden beneath Vivec, and can be joined. In Cyrodiil, neither of these exist but the Dark Brotherhood does. It is a less formal, illegal, guilds of assassins.

Daedra are formidable opponents. Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of Destruction, caused the menacing Oblivion gates. Inside the gates, Daedra could also be the toughest opponents to face. Daedroth are also reasonable opponents that you could find in Daedric ruins or Oblivion gates, and Dwemer were the local dwarven race in "Morrowind", before they disappeared many years ago.

Elsweyr is the home province of the Khajiit, and personally I hope there will be a chapter based there, because I love the Khajiit.

The Crimson Scars were a vampiric assassin organisation, founded by Greywyn Blenwyth (the most powerful vampire assassin in Tamriel), that broke away from the Dark Brotherhood in order to destroy and replace them. Silarian and Rowley Eardwulf were members of the Scars, and Belisarius Arius was a Speaker for the Dark Brotherhood's Black Hand during the time of the Oblivion Crisis.
