Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Abbess Indian?

Answer: Abyssinian

The origin of the Abyssinian has been surrounded by much speculation, though it is known to be one of the oldest breeds. They are considered an active breed who are loyal and desire and enjoy interaction with their owners.
2. Sigh amaze?

Answer: Siamese

When I think of Siamese cats, I picture their gorgeous colored blue eyes and their vocality. They seem to adapt well to any type of household as long as they get frequent attention. They have colored points that are located on their face, ears, feet, and tail. They're an intelligent and affectionate breed, though also a demanding one.
3. Hem allay in?

Answer: Himalayan

Himalayans share a lot of the same characteristics as the Persian. They have the trademark short nose, large round eyes, and the small ears of the Persian. They also share the longhaired coat of the Persian, which requires almost daily maintenance. They come in a wide variety of shades and point colors and are said to have a very easy-going temperament.
4. Mane coombe?

Answer: Maine Coon

Maine Coons are known as being a very large breed of cat weighing in at up to 20+ pounds. They are an affectionate and social breed and have been often referred to as "gentle giants." Though a longhaired breed, its coat is actually very easy to maintain, only requiring combing and/or a good brushing about twice a week.
5. May inks?

Answer: Manx

The Manx is the breed that is known for being tailless. It is believed to have originated hundreds of years ago on the Isle of Man. The Manx has been said to enjoy collecting and/or burying small objects and/or toys. In my opinion, the Manx is truly an exceptionally beautiful cat, which is available in all colors and patterns.
6. No reaching fluoresce khat?

Answer: Norwegian Forest Cat

The Norwegian Forest Cat is a natural breed straight from good ol' Mother Nature. They have a heavy-duty longhaired coat, but only require minimal grooming. These cats don't reach full maturation until about 5 years of age. Norwegians are large, robust cats that come in a multitude of colors and patterns ranging from pure white to coal black with all possible color combinations in between.
7. Purging?

Answer: Persian

The Persian could very well be said to be the most well-known, if not the most popular, of all cat breeds. They are known to be very sweet and gentle in nature. They have a stocky body type with large eyes set on a flat face and a pudged-in nose. They come in a multitude of colors and patterns.
8. Berm ease?

Answer: Burmese

The Burmese is a breed available in a variety of colors ranging from brown to blue tortie. The Burmese is said to be very people-oriented and requires much affection and interaction with their owners in order to thrive. They are big time lap cats who have a personality type said to inspire lifelong devotion to the breed.
9. Corniche wrecks?

Answer: Cornish Rex

The Cornish Rex originated in Cornwall, England. It has soft curly hair, and even whiskers which curl, along with a gently curved body. The Cornish Rex is said to have a kitten-like activity level which supposedly lasts for its entire lifetime. They are also an extremely affectionate and people-oriented breed.
10. Balm bey?

Answer: Bombay

The Bombay is jet black in color and is said to resemble the black panther. It's a shorthair breed of cat that is closely related to the Burmese. Bombays require very little grooming- just the petting of one's hand seems to do the trick.
11. Sought fish bowled?

Answer: Scottish Fold

Scottish Folds are distinguished by their folded ears, which fold downward and forward on their heads. The first Scottish Fold cat was discovered in 1961 at a farm in Scotland. Her name was Susie. She was a white barn cat. Scottish Folds come in both shorthair and longhair and can be found in virtually every color combination.

They are considered a sweet natured cat which is normally quiet, but require much attention from their owners. They will not do well in households where they're left alone quite often.
12. Rushing boule ewe?

Answer: Russian Blue

I read that Russian Blues are a good breed of choice for the busy household. They are supposedly an undemanding breed which will keep themselves entertained quite happily while one's out. Many believe the Russian Blue to have originated from the Archangel Isles, though little is actually known about its true origin.

The Russian Blue is, of course, blue in color with silver tipping, and is in my opinion, a very strikingly beautiful creature.
13. Tour cache Ankara?

Answer: Turkish Angora

Originating in Turkey, the Turkish Angora comes in a variety of colors and patterns, though white is the most popular and well-known. It's a longhaired breed, however it does not have an undercoat, which makes for less shedding and matting, and helps in keeping grooming to a minimum.
14. Core at?

Answer: Korat

Korats have fur coats that are a shiny, shimmering, silver-gray in color. They are known to possess a heightened sense of hearing, sight, and scent. They like to stay physically near their owners and are considered an excellent choice of breed for those who may live alone.

They are a shorthaired breed, which therefore, makes for minimal grooming. The Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc. stated the following about a Korat's eyes: "The eyes of the Korat are like those of no other cat; expressive and oversized for the face with a depth and intense gaze that takes your breath away...as sparkling as the 'dewdrops on a lotus leaf.'"
15. Speaks?

Answer: Sphynx

The Sphynx is known as the hairless breed, however, they do actually have an amount of hair on their bodies, referred to as peach fuzz and/or a downy coat. And though considered hairless, don't be fooled into thinking they may require less grooming than most cats.

They actually require more frequent and regular grooming and bathing to prevent oil build-up on their skin and waxy build-up in the ears and the area around the nails. Also, due to being hairless, the Sphynx requires rather warm environments year-round with plenty of places to be able to snuggle to keep in extra heat. Thanks for playing, I hope all enjoyed it! :)
