Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. My first guest for a sleepover is Lisa Kelly - an Alaskan truck driver. In which TV series did Lisa Kelly find fame driving on some of the world's most dangerous roads?

Answer: Ice Road Truckers

Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lisa Kelly moved to Alaska with her parents when she was eight years old.

After graduating from school, Kelly did various jobs - including driving a school bus - before becoming a truck driver with Carlile Transportation, helping supply the Alaskan oilfields. Her career almost ended in her first year driving for Carlile, when while driving to the Alaskan oilfields she hit a Caribou that leapt out in front of her truck, causing considerable damage to the truck.

It was when the TV series "Ice Road Truckers" moved from filming drivers on the ice roads of Canada to Alaska that Lisa found fame as one of the drivers that appeared in season three of "Ice Road Truckers". "Ice Road Truckers" is a reality show about truckers who drive over frozen bodies of water in Alaska, USA and Canada. In addition, she also appeared in a spinoff show entitled "Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads", driving roads in India, Bolivia and Peru.

During the filming of season six of "Ice Road Truckers", Lisa Kelly decided to take a break from filming. She returned for season seven, this time driving the ice roads of Canada, helping Polar Industries to deliver supplies to remote communities in Manitoba against rival company, VP Express - co-owned by Hugh Rowland, another star of "Ice Road Truckers".

When not driving trucks, Lisa Kelly has stated that she enjoys horse riding, riding motocross bikes in competitions, as well as skydiving and hang gliding.
2. The next guest for my sleepover is actor/presenter Tony Robinson who found fame playing the hapless Baldrick in the historical TV comedy series "Blackadder". Where was Tony Robinson born?

Answer: London

Born in the borough of Hackney, London, Tony Robinson's started his career as a child actor, playing the Artful Dodger in Lionel Bart's production of "Oliver!" It was not until he was older did he find fame as the hopeless and put-upon Baldrick in the TV series "Blackadder", a sitcom about Baldrick's tribulations.

Since the 1990s, though, Robinson has become better known as a TV presenter, fronting the Channel 4 TV series "Time Team" - having been introduced to archaeology having attended a course held by fellow "Time Team" presenter Mick Aston. In addition, Robinson created the children's TV series "Maid Marian and her Merry Men" which retold the story of Robin Hood with Marian as the group's leader, in which Robinson also played the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robinson's other TV work includes presenting "The Worst Jobs in History" and "Tony Robinson Down Under".

Aside from acting and presenting, Robinson is also an author and activist, passionate about social justice. As such, this has led him to make a documentary about trying to find a suitable nursing home for his mother who was suffering from Alzheimer's disease. In addition, Robinson was also vice-president of the actor's union Equity and a member of the Labour Party National Executive Committee. It 2013, Robinson was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for public and political services.
3. Next on my list for a fantasy sleepover is Professor Alice Roberts, a TV presenter who is an expert in anatomy, as well as a number of other areas. In which archaeological TV programme did she first appear?

Answer: Time Team

Born in Bristol, England in 1973, Professor Alice Roberts has a wide range of expertise. Not only is she a qualified anatomist, she is also an expert in anthropology, osteoarchaeology and paleoarchaeology.

It was Professor Mick Aston, who was also one of the co-presenters of "Time Team", that first introduced Roberts to archaeology whilst she was at Bristol University. It was because of this that Roberts ended up being involved in Time Team itself as one of the experts discussing find, as well as taking part in excavations . In addition to "Time Team" (1994-2013), Roberts also appeared in "Extreme Archaeology", a TV programme that started investigating archaeological sites in 2004 that were difficult to reach.

Her subsequent TV career also saw her become a co-presenter on the BBC 2 series "Coast", as well as fronting her own TV series that included "Digging for Britain", "Don't Die Young", "The Incredible Human Journey", and "Ice Age Giants".

Away for the TV screen, Roberts' work has involved being the Professor of Public Engagement in Science at the University of Birmingham and Director of Anatomy at the Severn Deanery Postgraduate School of Surgery. In private, Roberts is a keen painter in water colours. She also enjoys surfing.
4. Jeremy Clarkson would certainly be on the top of my guest list for a sleepover. On which TV programme has Clarkson co-presented with Richard Hammond and James May?

Answer: Top Gear

Clarkson was one of the original presenters of the motorcar review series "Top Gear" in the late 1980s and early 1990s before branching off into fronting his own programmes, including the short-lived chat show entitled "Clarkson".

As well as presenting the revived series of "Top Gear", Clarkson is also a motoring journalist, newspaper columnist and author. Clarkson is a keen supporter of the British military and the Help for Heroes charity that helps wounded service men and women.

Clarkson himself is often considered a love/hate sort of person. Although many of his comments are dismissed as being tongue-in-cheek, his political views often appear outdated and at times right-wing.

On an interesting side note, Clarkson's mother held the rights to make cuddly toy versions of the popular children's character Paddington Bear. This stemmed from Clarkson's mother making her own versions of Paddington Bear for Clarkson and his sister. Such was the popularity of these toys with other parents at the school Clarkson attended that his mother set up a company to make them for the public.
5. Actress Julie Buckfield, being one of my favourite actresses, is another guest for my sleepover. What is the name of her identical twin sister who is also an actress?

Answer: Clare Buckfield

Born in London in 1976 - along with her identical twin sister Clare, who is also an actress - Julie knew she wanted to act from an early age. After a number of roles in local theatre, she won the role of Young Eponine in the long running musical "Les Miserables". Although not a well-known actress, Julie Buckfield has played leading roles in "Grange Hill", "Hollyoaks" and "Extr@", as well as guest roles in "The Bill", "Casualty", "Holby City" and "London's Burning".

In addition, Julie Buckfield has built up a successful career onstage, touring the UK and Ireland in such productions as "Passport to Pimlico", "The Naked Truth" and, "The Ghost Train".

Another aspect of Julie Buckfield's career has seen her become one of the foremost principal boys in pantomime, playing the title role in "Peter Pan" five times, as well as a seven-year stint as resident principal boy at the Cambridge Arts Theatre in Cambridge - in which she also performed the title role in "Cinderella".

In private, Buckfield became the patron for CamSAR in 2008, an organisation which is a search and rescue charity based in Cambridgeshire, aiding the police in searching missing persons.
6. Mikey Teutul is well known to fans of the TV series "American Chopper". After deciding to leave Orange Country Choppers - featured in "American Chopper" - what venture did Mikey turn to?

Answer: He became an artist.

Born in 1978, Mikey Teutul is the youngest son of Paul Teutul Sr. Seen as comic relief in the series, Mikey Teutul faced his own demons behind the screens, including alcoholism. In addition, Mikey was caught in the middle of his brother Paul Jr. and father's fractured relationship. This led to Mikey deciding to leave Orange County Chopper - which was set up by his father Paul Sr - having felt those running Orange County Choppers were freezing him out of the company.

After leaving Orange County Choppers, Mikey Teutul ended up helping his brother Paul Teutul Jr, who eventually opened his own business, Paul Jr. Designs. In addition, Mikey found himself drawn towards abstract painting, creating his own unique artwork. This led to him opening his own gallery - called Wolfgang Gallery - in Montgomery, New York that displays various artworks created by Mikey.

In addition, Mikey has turned his hand to stand-up comedy and has also released a range of cooking sauces.
7. Catherine Southon is another guest I would like on my fantasy celebrity sleepover. On what TV show does Catherine, an antiques expert, give advice to contestants seeking to make money on items that later are auctioned for profit?

Answer: Bargain Hunt

Having worked as an antiques expert for over 16 years, Catherine Southon appears regularly on TV as an antiques expert on the TV series "Bargain Hunt" where she advises contestants on items to buy that may make a profit when they are sent to auction. In addition to this, Catherine has also worked on such shows as "Flog It!", "Antiques Road Trip", and "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" - the later two being programmes where Catherine has used her own money to make a profit for charity.

Catherine's career started at Sotheby's in Bond Street, London. There she became Head of Scientific Instruments and Maritime Works of Art, before becoming a freelance valuer of antiques and collectables. Catherine later opened her own auctioneers with fellow "Bargain Hunt" expert Mark Stacey as a consultant.
8. Uncle Si is a definite must on my guest list after seeing him in the TV series "Duck Dynasty". What is his surname?

Answer: Robertson

Silas Merritt Robertson, or "Uncle Si", is well-known to fans of the TV series "Duck Dynasty". A former Vietnam War veteran, Uncle Si is rarely seen without a plastic cup - filled with iced tea - which was a present sent to him by his mother whilst serving in Vietnam. In addition, Si is also the brother of Phil Robertson who set up Duck Commander, the business featured in the TV programme.

Having retired from the US army in 1993, Si's role at Duck Commander is to make reeds for the duck calls that the company sells. Along with frequently saying "Hey" when speaking, Uncle Si is often portrayed embarrassing his nephews, especially Willie Robertson, who runs Duck Commander for his father and who turned Duck Commander into a multi-million dollar company.
9. To provide some music for my celebrity sleepover, I would invite singer Lena Katina. In which Russian pop duo did she first find fame?

Answer: t.A.T.u

Born in 1984, Elena Sergeevna Katina - better known as Lena Katina - was one-half of the famous Russian pop duo t.A.T.u.

At an early age, Lena Katina became interested in music, having grown up in a musical background - her father being the Russian musician Sergey Katin. It was while part of a group called Neposedi - Russian for "naughty children" - that she met Yulia Volkova, with whom she was to sing with in t.A.T.u. After leaving t.A.T.u, Lena Katina embarked on a solo career.
10. To provide some comedy for my sleepover, I have chosen Roy "Chubby" Brown as my final guest. In which TV series did he play the Mayor of Royston Vasey?

Answer: The League of Gentlemen

Born Royston Vasey in 1945, Roy "Chubby" Brown is one of the UK's most controversial stand-up comedians, which has led to him rarely appearing on TV. It is then ironic that Brown was chosen to play the mayor of a town in the first series of "The League of Gentlemen". This programme was a surreal dark comedy created by Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, Jeremy Dyson and Reece Shearsmith - who play all the main characters in the programme irrespective of the characters' genders.

Dressed in a multi-coloured patchwork suit and flying helmet, Brown's comedy routine has been branded outdated and politically incorrect by his critics. Much of Brown's performances have been dubbed either racist or sexist, but despite this Brown has remained popular with his audience, regularly releasing DVDs of his routines.

In 2002, Brown had surgery to remove a vocal cord when he was diagnosed with throat cancer. In 2003, Brown was fined for assaulting a fan, and in 2010 acquitted of assaulting a woman by the Teesside Magistrates' Court. In addition, Brown released his autobiography called "Common as Muck: The Autobiography of Roy 'Chubby' Brown" in 2006, and his memoirs entitled "It's Funny Being Me" in 2011.
