Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these actresses had a famous father (he starred in Broadway's "Babes In Arms") and she was considered a "blonde bombshell" in the 1960s?

Answer: Joey Heatherton

Joey Heatherton's father was Ray Heatherton, a popular singer and dancer.
She spent more than 10 years touring with Bob Hope, entertaining US troops
around the world. Joey Heatherton was often compared to Ann-Margret, another famous femme fatale of the time.

Mamie Van Doren and Jayne Mansfield were, indeed, blonde bombshells, but without famous fathers. And although Rhonda Fleming was a bombshell, I think she had red hair.
2. Which actor played Tarzan on TV in the 1960s?

Answer: Ron Ely

Ron was famous for doing all his own stunts, sometimes with painful results,
including several tiger maulings. A popular episode included the Supremes (as singing nuns!). "Tarzan" debuted on NBC in 1966 and ran for two seasons. In addition, Ely appeared in several episodes of "Sea Hunt" with Lloyd Bridges.

The others all played Tarzan in the movies. Elmo Lincoln played Tarzan in silent movies. Johnnie Weismuller was probably the most famous movie Tarzan and Christopher Lambert played him in the 1990s.
