She was born Shirley Jane Temple in Santa Monica, California in 1928.Four films came out in 1934 in which she starred, "Now and Forever", "Little Miss Marker", "Baby Take a Bow", and "Bright Eyes" . At the height of her popularity, from 1935 to 1938, she was the biggest box office attraction in Hollywood.

In 1969 she became a U.S. Delegate to the United Nations. In the years that followed she served as a U.S. Delegate to quite a few International Conferences and Summits. By 1976 she became the first female Chief of Protocol of the United States.

She was born Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10, 1922 and came from a vaudeville family and was introduced to the stage at just two years old. Her first major impact on audiences happened with her third film, "Broadway Melody of 1938" in which she sang "Dear Mr Gable".

She was then teamed with MGM's established child star, Mickey Rooney, and they made a lot of popular films in the Andy Hardy series. She was cast in "THE WIZARD OF OZ" (1939), in which she sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", the song with which she would always be associated.

She won a special Oscar as "the best juvenile performer of the year" for the role which originally had been intended for Shirley Temple. She died June 22, 1969 in London of an accidental barbiturate overdose.

John Ernest Crawford was born on March 26, 1946 in Los Angeles, California and is an American actor, singer and musician. He received an Emmy Award nomination at the age of 13 for his role as Mark McCain on the television series "The Rifleman" 1958-1963.

He was widely popular with American teenagers and had a recording career that generated five Top 40 hits, including the single "Cindy's Birthday," which peaked at #8 on Billboard's Top 40 Hit Chart in 1962. Crawford is currently the leader of the California-based Johnny Crawford Orchestra.

They specialize in traditional jazz, early big band, and classical styles of music.

Born Heather Michele O'Rourke on December 27, 1975 in San Diego, California she entered American cinematic pop-culture before she entered first grade. She was really having lunch when she was discovered and failed her first audition when she laughed at a stuffed animal that Spielberg showed her.

He thought she was just too young (barely just turned five years old), and he was actually looking for a girl at least 6 years old, but he asked her to come in a second time with a scary story book. He asked her to scream a lot.

She screamed until she broke down in tears. He then hired her and three "Poltergeist" movies (1982, 1986, and 1988) were made. Heather was a familiar face on TV in "Happy Days" (1974) (1982-1983), "Webster" (1983-1984), and "Still the Beaver" (1985-1987), three shows in which she had recurring roles.

She died Feb. 1,1988. She suffered cardiac arrest, and died on the operating table at the age of 12, the result of congenital intestinal stenosis (intestinal blockage), which had led to septic shock and infection.

Her last words were "I love you," spoken to her mother.

Born Dante Daniel "Danny" Bonaduce on August 13, 1959.He was the son of veteran TV writer/producer Joseph Bonaduce ,"Mayberry RFD" 1968-1971, "One Day At A Time" 1975-1979, and "Good Times" 1974-1979. He came from a very unhappy home life and it got worse when he became a child star.

The Partridge Family was a successful American television sitcom about a widowed mother and her five children living in a small fictional town in Northern California. It was on ABC from 1970 to 1974. The star of the show, Shirley Jones, would see Danny coming to work covered in bruises and so on weekends she & other adult cast members would take turns taking Danny home with them.

Bill Mumy ( pronounced 'moomy') was born February 1, 1954, as Charles William Mumy Jr. in San Gabriel, California. He did "Lost in Space" from 1965-1968 as young Will Robinson. The first season, filmed in black-and-white, showed the Robinsons stranded on an uncharted planet. She was born Anna Marie Duke in Elmhurst, Queens, New York on December 14, 1946. She had quite a troubled childhood but would go on to have quite a great career. At age sixteen she was the youngest person at that time to receive an Academy Award in a competitive category for her Helen Keller role.

She is also one of only three actresses to win an Oscar for a non-speaking role, since she had no dialogue other than grunting and screaming in the film. She won a Golden Globe for "Me, Natalie" in 1969, which also featured Al Pacino in his screen debut.

In a 1979 television movie of "The Miracle Worker",she played Sullivan. In 1963,she landed her own series "The Patty Duke Show" 1963-1966, in which she played both main characters: Patty Lane and her "identical cousin" from Scotland, Cathy Lane.

The show ran for three seasons and and earned her one Emmy Award nomination.
