Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Robin Williams

Answer: Christopher Reeve

In the 1970s, Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve met at Julliard, where they were both part of an advanced program. In his autobiography, Reeve mentioned that Williams was "like an un-tied balloon that had been inflated and immediately released". Can you imagine Superman and Mork - conquering evil with strength and laughter?
2. Rob Lowe

Answer: Robert Downey, Jr.

In the 1980s, if you were strolling down the halls of Santa Monica High, you might have run into future "West Wing" star Rob Lowe or (again future) "Sherlock" actor, Robert Downey Jr. Oh, and you'll never guess who you also might have encountered - none other than Carlos Irwin Estevez, better known as Charlie Sheen.
3. Zach Braff

Answer: Lauryn Hill

"Scrubs" meets Fugees, long before either existed. It seems both Zach and Lauryn went to Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey. Both South Orange residents were graduated from CHS in 1993.
4. Neil Patrick Harris

Answer: Freddie Prinze Jr.

How coincidental is this? Both Neil and Freddie attended La Cueva High School in the 1990s. However, the future "Doogie Howser" is three years older, and graduated when Freddie was just a freshman. Years after "Doogie", Neil Patrick Harris played Barney Stinson in the long running sitcom "How I Met Your Mother", which ran from 2005 through 2014. Freddie Prize Jr. has starred in a number of films, including "She's All That" (1999), "Scooby-Doo" (2002) and "I Know What You Did Last Summer".

In 2002, Freddie married Sarah Michelle Gellar ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer").
5. John Krasinski

Answer: B.J. Novak

You might not have selected this pair, reasoning that they were both on "The Office" so it would be too coincidental for them to have gone to the same high school. Wrong! These future co-stars both went to Newton South High School in Massachusetts; not only that, but they were both in the same grade and acted in their senior show together in 1997.
6. Prince William

Answer: Eddie Redmayne

Yes, Prince William, grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and second in line for the throne of England, met up with future Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne on the playing fields of Eton in the 1990s. In fact, they were even on the same rugby team at Eton College. Since that time, Prince William has grown up, married Kate Middleton and had children. Eddie Redmayne has been busy as well. Aside from winning the Best Actor Oscar for the 2015 movie "The Theory of Everything", he has also appeared on the large screen in "Les Miserables" (2012), "The Danish Girl" (2015), and the 2016 film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them".
7. Nicole Kidman

Answer: Naomi Watts

Hawaiian born Nicole Kidman and British Naomi Watts were both enrolled in North Sydney High School in Australia in the 1980s. Watts made her screen debut in the 1986 Australian drama "For Love Alone", and later appeared in the Australian TV series "Hey Dad..!", in 1990.

The following year, she and Nicole Kidman starred with Thandie Newton in the coming-of-age comedy "Flirting". Kidman is a well-known actress who has appeared in movies, such as "Dead Calm" (1989), "Moulin Rouge!" (2001), "Eyes Wide Shut" (1999), and "Australia" (2008). Nicole and Naomi have remained friends.
8. Kate Hudson

Answer: Zooey Deschanel

It's not strange that two California girls would wind up in the same high school. That was the case with future actresses Kate Hudson and Zooey Deschanel who both attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California in the 1990s. Kate wound up "Almost Famous" (2000), while Zooey became a star of the sitcom "New Girl", which premiered in September, 2011.
9. Snoop Dogg

Answer: Cameron Diaz

Snoop Dogg (Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr.) was a year ahead of Cameron Diaz at Long Beach Polytechnic High in Long Beach, California, in the 1980s. Snoop Dogg became a rapper and an actor. Actress Cameron Diaz has starred in movies like "The Mask" (1994) and "There's Something About Mary" (1998).
10. Justin Trudeau

Answer: Matthew Perry

If you knew that Matthew Perry was Canadian, then you had a shot at getting this one. They both went to the elementary school Rockcliffe Park Public School in Ontario, Canada, in the 1970s. Justin's father, Canadian Prime Minister Elliott Trudeau, believed in the importance of public schooling for his children. Mathew Perry will, of course, always be a "friend".
