His father, Robert Williams, worked for Ford Motor Company as an executive. His mother Laurie Williams was a model. He also had a stepbrother named Robert Todd Williams who died in 2007. He was a winemaker. Williams lived in Chicago until he was 16 and during that time he as bullied for being a chubby kid. When he was 16, his family moved to California.
2. What was Robin's second movie, which was based on a cartoon of the same name, that came out in 1980?

Answer: Popeye

"Popeye" is the live action version of the cartoon. In it Popeye searches for his father and in the process meets and falls in love with Olive Oyl (played by Shelly Duvall). Malta is where the movie was filmed.

"The Birdcage" is a remake of the musical "La Cage Aux Folles". Williams plays the role of Armand Goldman, a gay man whose partner, Albert, is extremely feminine. This becomes a problem when Armand's son (from a one-night stand) announces he is getting married.

The father of his bride-to-be is active in politics and they are afraid this news would ruin his career. So Armand sets out to teach Albert to be more like a man. Williams does a great impression of John Wayne in this movie.

"Good Morning Vietnam" came out in 1987. It tells the story of a Adrian Cronauer, played by Williams, who is assigned to the Armed Services Radio in Saigon during the beginning days of Vietnam. While the soldiers love his program, his superiors hate it and he's told to either change it or lose his job on the radio. Robin Williams received an Oscar nomination for his role but lost the Oscar to Michael Douglas who won for "Wall Street".

They married on October 23, 2011. Schneider is a graphics designer. She was William's third wife.

This movie was released in 1998. Williams plays the title character, Patch Adams. He is in medical school and realizes that when people laugh they start to feel better. In "Happy Days" he appears to Richie Cunningham and Richie thinks it is a dream, except for the fact Mork doesn't go away. Mork's reason for being on Earth, is to take Richie back to Ork to study Earthlings.
