Harold Lloyd was born in Nebraska in April 20, 1893. His birthplace was the city of Burchard. His parents were named James Darsie Lloyd and Sarah Elisabeth Fraser.

Answer: Lonesome Luke

The character Lonesome Luke was invented by Lloyd and Hal Roach, Lloyd's producer and director. The character first appeared in the 1915 film "Spit-Ball Sadie" and his last appearance was in the 19197 film "We Never Sleep". When portraying Lonesome Luke, Lloyd wore ill-fitting clothes as well as a fake moustache.

He later remarked that he became a human being only after adopting his Glasses persona.

Mildred Davis was born in 1901 in Philadelphia. After several years of education at the Friends' School there, she traveled to Los Angeles in order to obtain a role in a film. There, she caught the eye of Hal Roach, the producer of Harold Lloyd. Lloyd and Davis co-starred for the first time in the 1919 film "From Hand to Mouth" and ended up married four years later. Under pressure from Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis stopped making movies and reappeared in the big screen only once after their marriage, in the 1927 film "Too Many Crooks".

She died in 1969, two years before her husband.

In one of these, he was holding a prop bomb, which was mistaken for a smoke pot. It exploded, and Lloyd lost the two fingers. He later said about the incident: "I thought I would surely be so disabled that I would never be able to work again. I didn't suppose that I would have one five-hundredth of what I have now. Still I thought, 'Life is worthwhile. Just to be alive.' I still think so."

The film "Safety Last!" was released in 1923. In the film, Harold Lloyd is a young man who attempts to find his fortune and marry his girlfriend. While with a friend, he sees a policeman whom he knew from his hometown and presuades his friend to knock him out, claiming that his influence on the police force is so big that they will never be punished.

However, Harold's friend knocks out another policeman. Harold's friend manages to escape by climbing the facade of a building, but the policeman warns him that he will arrest him if he ever sees him again. Meanwhile, Harold is buying his girlfriend quite expensive presents, which he cannot really afford.

The girl thinks that Harold is now rich and proceedes to meet him. Harold, desperate to find some money, learns that there is a prize of $1000 for anyone who manages to climb the twelve-story Bolton building.

He finds his friend and they agree to share the reward by having the friend do the deed with Harold's name. However, when Harold climbs the first story and is about to switch clothes with his friend, the policeman appears and chases the friend away. Harold tries to complete the deed but ends up hanging from a clock.

Joseph Frank Keaton was born in 1895. The name Joseph was chosen for him in order to continue the family tradition of naming the male descendants Joseph. The name Frank was given to him after his mother's grandfather, who did not approve of Buster's parents' marriage.

Butts, who accompanies his love interest, Elvira Plunkett (portrayed by Anita Page), into Hollywood, after Elvira has won a competition by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. On the train, they meet actor Larry Mitchell (Robert Montgomery), who also has a crush on Elvira and has all the connections to make her a star. When Elmer is given a screen test, he cannot say his one line correctly and he causes numerous problems, but he is ultimately hired to participate in a comic opera.

He also attempts to tell Elvira he loves her, but does it in such a way that she thnks he is giving her advice on how to tell Larry she loves him.
