Los Boricuas incited a brawl with the Disciples of Apocalypse in the locker room. A Disciples of Apocalypse member named Skull was injured by the Los Boricuas during the brawl. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was a "marked man" in the 1998 Royal Rumble Match due to his rebellious behavior on WWE programming. Austin entered the match at number twenty-four. The wrestlers in the ring were waiting on him when his entrance music started. Austin entered the ring from the crowd and began attacking the other competitors. Austin eliminated seven other wrestlers, lastly The Rock, to win the 1998 Royal Rumble Match.
