Answer: No Chance In Hell

This tagline was built around Vince McMahon's statement that Stone Cold Steve Austin had "no chance in hell!" of winning the 1999 "Royal Rumble" match. It even became part of Vince's entrance music that he still uses to date.

Road Dogg lost out to the Big Bossman in 11 minutes, 50 seconds after a "Bossman Slam".

Shamrock had won the Intercontinental Title from Triple H in October 1998.

Venis interfered and took Shamrock down with a DDT. The two would go on to face each other at the next Pay Per View.

Billy Gunn tapped out to Shamrock's lethal submission move, the Ankle Lock. The move is also used, if slightly modified, by Kurt Angle.

Answer: Gangrel

Gangrel, who hadn't actually done anything to deserve a title shot, almost had the match won when X-Pac went down for a three count. The pinfall, however, was unintentional, as referee Teddy Long had messed up. X-Pac won the match with the "X-Factor".

Sable, who was attacked by Luna on the pre-Pay Per View "Sunday Night Heat" show, won with help from an unidentified fan. The fan would later be known as Tori.

Answer: Mankind

Mankind won the WWE Title from The Rock on "RAW", December 29, 1998. This fact was advertised on WCW's TV show "Nitro" which was airing live on January 4, 1999, as opposed to the taped "RAW" which was airing on the same day, at the same time. It was done under the belief that nobody would want to watch Mick Foley win a World Title, but instead of people staying on watching "Nitro", they switched over to "RAW", costing WCW several million viewers.

Answer: I Quit Match

The purpose of the "I Quit Match" was to get your opponent to say the words "I Quit!" into a microphone, using any means necessary to make it happen.

Answer: Rock

The Rock gave Mankind an incredible amount of chair shots throughout the match, yet Mankind still refused to say the words "I Quit". In the end, a sick chair shot to the back of the head knocked Mankind out, and somebody played a tape of Mankind saying "I Quit" from a previous interview over the PA system, making it seem like Mankind had given up, and giving The Rock his second WWE World Title.

The money was put up for grabs, but the man who eliminated Austin was the same man who put up the money, Vince McMahon.

Answer: Mabel

Mabel was eliminated from the match by the Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw), before being removed from the arena via a hearse. He emerged the next night on "RAW", brainwashed and going by the name of "Viscera".

Answer: Ladies' Restroom

Austin was assaulted by most of the Corporation, meaning he had to be stretchered to the hospital, however, Austin commandeered the ambulance back to the arena, and re-took his place in the "Royal Rumble" match.

Answer: Chyna

Chyna had won a Battle Royal between the Corporation members on the previous week's "RAW" TV show to earn her place as the number 30 entrant. She was eliminated by Steve Austin.

Answer: Big Bossman and D'Lo Brown

D'Lo finished fourth and was eliminated by Big Bossman. Bossman finished third after he received a "Stone Cold Stunner" from Steve Austin. Vince won the match after The Rock ran down to distract Austin, allowing Vince to eliminate him over the top rope.
