Tom is in love with Becky Thatcher, the judge's daughter. One of Tom's many schemes involved trying to win her love and the approval of her father. Tom trades small items to the kids in his Sunday school class in exchange for vouchers. When he has enough vouchers, he trades them in for a special Bible. When the judge sees the Bible, he believes Tom to be an upright young boy but is quickly proven wrong when Tom fails to understand even the most common Bible verses.

Tom and Huck Finn experience many adventures throughout their appearances in Mark Twain's stories. These include witnessing a murder in the graveyard, faking their own funeral, hunting for buried treasure and being chased by Injun Joe.

Dagwood Bumstead was once the heir to a major locomotive fortune. However in 1933, he married a flapper named Blondie and was disinherited. He was forced to become a middle-class working man. He is known for his constant naps and his giant sandwiched topped with an olive on a toothpick (these are now colloquially called Dagwood sandwiches). Blondie, for whom the comic strip is named, is far more responsible than her husband but she too becomes overstressed with the children.

Their oldest child is Alexander, a typical teenager boy who is into sports. Their daughter Cookie is also a typical teenage girl. A running gag involves Dagwood being constantly suspicious of her dates. Their dog is named Daisy and she is bluish-grey and devoted to Dagwood.

Specifically, Fred and Lamont live in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, a predominately African-American working class neighborhood. Redd Foxx played Fred Sanford, a cantankerous old man who often faked heart attacks to get his way and exclaim "I'm comin' to join ya Elizabeth" in reference to his late wife. Fred and Lamont have a somewhat strained relationship. Fred treated Lamont as if he were stupid and constantly ruined any romantic relationship Lamont would start. Fred also rarely gave Lamont credit for anything.

Answer: Josey Wales

Josey Wales first appeared in the 1973 novel "Rebel Outlaw: Josey Wales" by Forrest Carter. Josey was a Missouri rancher during the Civil War when Union renegades burned his ranch down, looted and then killed his family. Josey survived the ordeal and vowed revenge.

He joined up with a similar band of Confederate renegades to hunt down his enemies and other Union soldiers. The novel was adapted to the big screen in 1976 starring Clint Eastwood in the film "Outlaw Josey Wales".

Answer: Jason Bourne

In the film adaptation of Robert Ludlum's "Bourne" series, Jason Bourne is played by Matt Damon. Bourne was originally David Webb from Nixa, Missouri but was given a new identity when he joined Delta Force and became an assassin after serving in the Middle East.

In the original novels, Bourne was also born David Webb but served during the Vietnam War before joining the CIA. Bourne is also simply an alias Webb uses whereas in the films Webb takes the identity of Jason Bourne, who was an actual person.

Answer: Gone Girl

"Gone Girl" is a 2012 novel by Gillian Flynn. It centers around Nick and Amy Dunne, a married couple. Nick and Amy are happily married until they lose their jobs and are forced to move back to Missouri in Nick's hometown. Amy hates Missouri and begins to hate Nick a result. On their wedding anniversary, Amy disappears and is suspected to have been murdered. Nick is the initial prime suspect because he does not seem at all bothered her disappearance and has been having an affair.

However, Amy is not dead.

She faked her disappearance to frame her husband. And this is just the beginning of their problems.

Answer: Mildred Hayes

"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" stars Frances McDormand as Mildred Hayes, a mother grieving her daughter. Mildred's daughter Angela was raped and murdered seven months prior to the opening of the film but the crime remains unsolved. She blames Sheriff Willoughby (Woody Harrelson) as she sees him as lazy and inept. Mildred resorted to renting out billboards with sayings to humiliate the sheriff and to motivate him. Mildred quickly becomes unpopular in town because Willoughby is dying and her actions are deemed insensitive.

America Ferrera and Ben Shapiro play Amy and Jonah, respectively. Amy is the manager of Cloud 9, a big-box store. She has been an employee for a long time and has mixed feelings about her job. Ben was hired as a store associate in the first episode. The series focuses on the lives of Cloud 9's employees and the comedic situations they find themselves in.

Mama a.k.a. Thelma Harper was played by Vicki Lawrence who wore a grey wig and fat suit for the role. "Mama's Family" was spun off from "The Carol Burnett Show" where Thelma originated. The series was short-lived and canceled after two seasons. However, the show was revived a bit afterward with an almost entirely new cast.

The premise of the series was that Mama would open her house to various family members who found themselves in trouble (usually financially) only to be annoyed by them. Among her family lived with her were her idiotic son Vinton, her hated daughter-in-law Naomi and her delinquent grandson Bubba.
