Answer: The Poseidon Adventure

"The Poseidon Adventure" was released in 1972, and was directed by Irwin Allen and Ronald Neame. It was about an ocean liner that gets hit by a 100 foot wave just as it strikes midnight on New Year's Eve. The ship gets turned upside down, and the small band of survivors make their way to, what is now, the top of the ship. Three fall by the wayside, and in the end the survivors are rescued.

The movie starred Gene Hackman, Eric Shea, Stella Stevens, Ernest Borgnine, Red Buttons, Roddy McDowall, Jack Albertson, Carol Lynley, Pamela Sue Martin, and Shelley Winters.

The show starred Dick Christie, Marla Pennington, Jerry Supiran, Emily Schulman, Tiffany Brissette, and Edie McClurg.

The show went off the air in 1989.

The truth about the site, and how the people die, comes out. It seems that the dead girl, seeking revenge for her death, was haunting the internet and bringing death to those who logged on to her killer's site.
