In "Fin Fang Four" (2005), a human sized Fin Fang Foom tries to become a productive member of society alongside Elektro (a robot), Googam (an alien), and Gorgilla (a giant ape).

Oliver J. Dragon is the full name of Ollie, from "Kukla, Fran and Ollie" (1947-1957).

Fran Allison was the human actress that interacted with the puppets Kukla and Ollie, both performed by Burr Tillstrom. Unscripted and adlibbed, the show premiered as "Junior Jamboree" in 1947 but was renamed a year later.

"Dragonheart" (1996) is the story of a dragon that saves a prince's life by sharing its heart with him. Hunted to near extinction, the last dragon and the last dragon hunter form an alliance, teaming up to con villagers out of their gold for bogus dragon hunting.

"Mulan" (1998) is based on the Chinese story of Hua Mulan, and is the story of a girl pretending to be a man to go to war against the Huns.

Early in development, Mulan was going to have two reptilian sidekicks. This evolved to a two-headed dragon and then into the current film version of Mushu.

While Eddie Murphy voiced Mushu in the original movie, subsequent appearances were voiced by Mark Moseley.

Scorch had his own self-titled sitcom in 1992 which was cancelled after only three of the six episodes were aired. On the show, Scorch was a real dragon that pretended to be a ventriloquist dummy. Ronn Lucas voiced Scorch but did not appear on camera.

Lockheed is a dragon-like alien that first appeared in "Uncanny X-Men" #166 (1983).

Despite years of never talking, Lockheed spoke to Kitty Pryde's then-boyfriend Peter Wisdom to antagonize him.
